Most people get this placement so wrong but this was spot on for me. I wholeheartedly beat to my own drum. I am not concerned with public recognization because for me it’s comes from my rich and robust support system that’s provided by my family and true friends.
interesting take for leo ic. but you have forgotten that leo is not a very emotional sign. leo is a fire sign. it could mean that home life was chaotic and full of drama; almost to the point that the "roar" and over the top expression is their only way to be seen. home life may be expressive, but it actually lacks the emotional depth and intimacy, because again, leo is a fire sign, not the cancer archetype which rules the 4th house.

I definitely don’t seek this recognition or being understood or valued in my public reputation or career but in my family life and intimate relationships tho even tho I didn’t get this growing up and don’t usually get this usually now

Not an astrologer myself but I'm an Aquarius Midheaven, and I don't totally agree with your interpretation. Some I agree, some I don't. I as an Aquarius Midheaven DO care a lot about what others think of me (though this may be because I also have Moon in 10th House) and care about status and can be egotistical as well as lack confidence. However, I also care about making a positive difference for others, people or animals, and have a humanitarian side. Also, regarding Leo IC and getting attention, I relate more to NOT getting my need for attention met and being more neglected than sufficiently paid attention to during my childhood or formative years. However, I do agree about Aquarius (or myself) doing what I want to do and what I believe in and not caring about others opinion or what they think of me in this regard and am NOT influenced by what others do and do things my way. Although I don't purposely rebel or go against the herd, I can be rebellious if going against the herd is what I believe in and have no fear of conflict. In any case, perhaps different individuals with Aquarius Midheaven can slightly differ depending on some other placements in their astrology?
