      Yes, but I would suggest an emulsifier to help, polysorbate 80 is the best for it.

    can you use both pectin and this vegan gelatin? what would the ratio be?

    Is citric acid and sodium citrate needed to make jello every time? What would be the difference if these are not used? What would happen if only one ( Citric acid or sodium citrate ) was added to the recipe but not the other?

      The citric acid is for flavor and the Sodium citrate is to buffer that acid. If the citric acid is removed you may not need the sodium citrate unless there is acidity from another source added to the recipe.

    What is the shelf life on this vegan gelatin after it has been processed. If I wanted to use it to make gummies for commercial reasons how long would you say they would last if properly sealed/stored.

      We don't produce recipes for commercial sale so our recipes are not tested for extended shelf life. This is all intended for home/restaurant use only.

    What's the difference between this and agar agar? I saw the comment on kappa carrageenan, and I was just curious. A lot of vegan flan recipes call for agar, but I want the best quality.

      You wouldn't get the proper texture with agar because it forms a brittle gel and not an elastic gel.

    Hi! I want to make vegan gummy bears, but I don’t want to use a dry mix. I want to use real fruit juices and agave( sweetener) how would I do this using the Vegan gelatin?

      Yes, You can still use this recipe and replace the water with fruit juice and sugar with agave. Just know that the Vegan gelatin requires heat and heat will change the flavor of the fruit juices.

    How do you prevent it from coming out like a jello? Trying to make gummies but it has a jello like consistency. Thanks

    Can you tell me if there's any proteiny "stretch" to gels made with this compared to the "snap" of brittle agar gel?

      We have no producers, this is all MP self-produced. 🤓 And yes, one of the big reasons we love vegan gelatin is the elasticity that you can't get from agar.

      It won't have the same texture because Kappa by itself has a brittle gel

    What is blooming?

      Blooming is soaking the gelatin in water to get it ready to use. For sheet gelatin this makes them soft and ensure when you melt them they will disperse and gel evenly.
