The Untamed should be rated with a 10 because it is sooo good. It is my favorite Chinese costume drama. To this day Xiao Zhan is one of my favorite actors, singers and celebrities. He is always so fun to watch, no matter what he is in. There’s a realness behind his gaze that you feel like you can touch that makes him so unique. I have never gotten over how he says so much with his eyes. It’s like he has a whole language he connects to people with and he so often can convey so many things with just a look or a smile, as if a River of thoughts and emotions run through him and stream outward. One of his directors said it best “to look into Xiao Zhans eyes us to see into the window of his soul. That’s really something. Something very rare to be able to capture in camera especially.”
Yet he gets so little screen time. I wish the jealous haters in the entertainment industry would stop undermining true talent. What happened to Vengo Goa's dramas that were supposed to premiere this year? What happened to Deng Lun's career? He is a great talent amongst his peers but it seems the haters have more say and power in that country

This is one of my favorite actors right now. I just finshed the Longest Promise. It was so good. The leading actress was so good as well.. but man she wouldnt listen to anyone. Even her beloved man. And it was frustrating during the last few episodes to watch her. But im sure that was the emotion she was to get out of us. Anger!! Hahaha. And the Untamed which i also just recently watches was awesome. These shows are so enjoyable id recommend them to anyone. Who enjoys love stories and Fantasy style martial arts.
While I initially only knew Xiao Zhan through The Untamed. I have also watched many other of his works including Duoluo Continent, Jade Dynasty, and The Longest Promise since then. He is a fantastic actor and I rate him up there with the best of the best. He has actually become one of my favorite actors and I cannot wait to see more of his works as well as any future projects he may be involved in. That's how highly I regard his skills. I hope he can surpass everyone's expectations of him and be a top talent of this generation. On another note I also looked into his musical talents and I have to say, he has a very beautiful voice. I've only watched a few of Xiao Zhan's drama like the Untamed, The Longest Promise to name a few, but I really fell in love with his mischievous character, good looks and of course good acting, and his got the most beautiful eyes and beautiful smile. I would like to watch the rest of his drama but I don't know where or what website I can watch it. Xiao Zhan is both hard working and super talented, he brings his characters to life. I find it difficult to believe that The Untamed had such a low viewership, I live in England and had difficulty reading the subtitles, so, had to stop and go back many times. It was brilliantly portrayed by all of the actors and characters. The scenery was stunning and the story compelling. I will follow the careers of several of the actors from The Untamed. Haters, just love to hate, they have nothing in their lives, if they did, they wouldn’t waste their time cyber bullying someone they don’t know, also, yes, some unscrupulous and corrupt companies employ ppl to spread malicious rumours feeding the haters - this should be illegal with severe and prohibitive penalties and not just a slap on the wrist.
There is no way it had low viewership. That show had a literal concert with the fans holding up a giant sign for what XZ said jokingly once to Yibo. "I love you Didi"
The same people who hacked Xiao Zhans personal account and his business files were apart of that whole PR company who were being paid to bring Xiao Zhan down (by jealous competitors but also a corporate mogul whose company was losing face and stock points because everything Xiao zhans face was on or he was acting in or as the brand ambassador for was selling like hot cakes and Xiao Zhan had not agreed to work with any of this moguls products not sign on to any productions this Moguls company sponsored and so Xiao zhans fame and product sales were costing this mogul money. He was also tied in with the network Xiao Zhan was not affiliated with. They did all kinds of crazy things before the whole 227 thing to undermine Xiao Zhan, including having anti fans go buy products Xiao Zhan promoted then return them as damaged and then anti fans went thru stores tearing up boxes and other crazy stuff to cause chaos. One of their tactics was having the hackers run the ratings machine numbers backwards on Douban (which come to find out they had done to some other celebrities in the past in an effort to lower their ratings as well and make it look like their shows also weren’t liked or had few viewers. Anyone who has ever seen the Untamed knows Xiao Zhan was born to play that role and embodied it so well to this day it’s hard to not see a bit of wei ying there when he smiles. Xiao Zhan was sooo amazing in that role and the whole show and soundtrack was so great and millions of people around the world agree but also…so do all of those who have ever voted for Xiao Zhan in any contest or volunteered for any charity he inspired his fans to help with or followed him as a fan. They all love the Untamed and really there is no other show that has as much AirPlay and fan love around the world from China, as the Untamed. The only star they even came close were much older stars who had been in the business for many many more years or fit into a martial arts niche and that was Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. Xiao Zhan on the other hand was in a Wuxian costume drama, which most people around the work had never even seen or heard of, and this made it even more unique that people around the world not only loved it but could follow it and really felt so much empathy and connection with wei ying. For most people in countries all around the world this was their first show they had ever seen like this. In countries where some people had never even seen anyone who was from China, and knew nothing about their culture or had never even had an interest in China at all. I watched a whole village of people in Africa watching the Untamed on the one TV they shared in their village, set up by a tree so they could all see it and they loved it! Several young people on a service project they introduced them to the Untamed and the show went from village to village being watched and talked about and so many fan clubs popped up there just for Xiao Zhan and by the time the student left Africa they even had posters up of Xiao Zhan and the Untamed in their airport! I’ve met so many people from so many countries personally, who are fans of both the Untamed and Xiao Zhan but also fans of many of the other characters as well! Places I could never even imagine having access to Chinas shows in their country. Both the Untamed and Xiao Zhan took the world by storm. For most people in other countries who found their way to the Untamed it was through a series of very short trailers that featured Xiao Zhan without even a title yet on the trailers, that started circulating at least a year or two years before it actually aired. The main one being of Xiao Zhan looking down playing his Dizi, with resentful energy swirling around him as his music builds to a sharp crescendo and then he suddenly looks up, transfixing you with his eyes. Another one had him playing his dizi on the roof then tipping back his head and drinking emperors smile and then laughing. If was after that the translations of the novel began circulating. If there was any show in China I have ever seen that deserved a 10 it was the Untamed! So yeah, we all know that whole douban ratings thing was rigged but did those Douban hackers stop the success of the Untamed or of Xiao Zhan? No? If anything, in the long run things like this made his fans more loyal and more supportive. It takes alot to stand up to bullies and especially when they are attempting to undermine your career and your livelihood. Yet he just kept marching forward with perseverance and faith and that has paid off. I loved seeing his recent blog that was almost like a movie itself and so interesting on Gucci and how their products are made, when he went to their headquarters. This was a promo for their new store they were opening in Shanghai and I loved that they chose him as their ambassador!

I’m sooo glad you ended this video with Xiao zhans voice speaking because I love his singing, I love the characters he portrays, I love seeing him in brand promos fir products he represents and I love seeing him at events and award shows he participates in and the many blogs and videos and updates he puts out fur fans but also I love his art however one of the other things I really love about Xiao Zhan is his speaking voice that often resonates so clearly Who he is, how he is really feeling so clearly. There is something so very unique about Xiao Zhan that stands out above so many others and that I’ve always felt was at the true heart of why he has so many global and international fans. He is in so many ways transparent even onstage or in costume. In just a look he sheds all pretense and you see to the heart of him. No matter what language you speak, no matter what country you are from and no matter if you have ever even heard a world of Chinese before. I think you could sit Xiao Zhan down in any stage and in any country and he still would be so loved, appreciated and valued and so memorable and unforgettable. Particularly his voice, his eyes, his smile and his body movements say so much. You get what he is trying to convey, what any character he is portraying is trying to convey but on top of that you really get what he himself truly feels about this and wants you to know. He is in many ways a mystery within a mystery and an enigma but with only one look you see through to everything he is and wants you to know. This truth resides in his art, the lyrics he chooses and even the roles he picks as well. I love to watch him in certain things when he makes eye contact with the audience and you see this see all of emotion that speaks so many things it’s almost as though those eyes flow like a River with meaning. Many people have often made note of Xiao zhans expressive eyes and the brightness of his smile and you only have to see these once to understand but in particular other than in front of a live audience these things are so visible in the Untamed. I've only watched a few of Xiao Zhan's drama like the Untamed, The Longest Promise to name a few, but I really fell in love with his mischievous character, good looks and of course good acting, and his got the most beautiful eyes and beautiful smile. I would like to watch the rest of his drama but I don't know where or what website I can watch it. Xiao Zhan is both hard working and super talented, he brings his characters to life. I find it difficult to believe that The Untamed had such a low viewership, I live in England and had difficulty reading the subtitles, so, had to stop and go back many times. It was brilliantly portrayed by all of the actors and characters. The scenery was stunning and the story compelling. I will follow the careers of several of the actors from The Untamed.
Haters, just love to hate, they have nothing in their lives, if they did, they wouldn’t waste their time cyber bullying someone they don’t know, also, yes, some unscrupulous and corrupt companies employ ppl to spread malicious rumours feeding the haters - this should be illegal with severe and prohibitive penalties and not just a slap on the wrist.
There is no way it had low viewership. That show had a literal concert with the fans holding up a giant sign for what XZ said jokingly once to Yibo. "I love you Didi"
The same people who hacked Xiao Zhans personal account and his business files were apart of that whole PR company who were being paid to bring Xiao Zhan down (by jealous competitors but also a corporate mogul whose company was losing face and stock points because everything Xiao zhans face was on or he was acting in or as the brand ambassador for was selling like hot cakes and Xiao Zhan had not agreed to work with any of this moguls products not sign on to any productions this Moguls company sponsored and so Xiao zhans fame and product sales were costing this mogul money. He was also tied in with the network Xiao Zhan was not affiliated with. They did all kinds of crazy things before the whole 227 thing to undermine Xiao Zhan, including having anti fans go buy products Xiao Zhan promoted then return them as damaged and then anti fans went thru stores tearing up boxes and other crazy stuff to cause chaos. One of their tactics was having the hackers run the ratings machine numbers backwards on Douban (which come to find out they had done to some other celebrities in the past in an effort to lower their ratings as well and make it look like their shows also weren’t liked or had few viewers. Anyone who has ever seen the Untamed knows Xiao Zhan was born to play that role and embodied it so well to this day it’s hard to not see a bit of wei ying there when he smiles. Xiao Zhan was sooo amazing in that role and the whole show and soundtrack was so great and millions of people around the world agree but also…so do all of those who have ever voted for Xiao Zhan in any contest or volunteered for any charity he inspired his fans to help with or followed him as a fan. They all love the Untamed and really there is no other show that has as much AirPlay and fan love around the world from China, as the Untamed. The only star they even came close were much older stars who had been in the business for many many more years or fit into a martial arts niche and that was Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. Xiao Zhan on the other hand was in a Wuxian costume drama, which most people around the work had never even seen or heard of, and this made it even more unique that people around the world not only loved it but could follow it and really felt so much empathy and connection with wei ying. For most people in countries all around the world this was their first show they had ever seen like this. In countries where some people had never even seen anyone who was from China, and knew nothing about their culture or had never even had an interest in China at all. I watched a whole village of people in Africa watching the Untamed on the one TV they shared in their village, set up by a tree so they could all see it and they loved it! Several young people on a service project they introduced them to the Untamed and the show went from village to village being watched and talked about and so many fan clubs popped up there just for Xiao Zhan and by the time the student left Africa they even had posters up of Xiao Zhan and the Untamed in their airport! I’ve met so many people from so many countries personally, who are fans of both the Untamed and Xiao Zhan but also fans of many of the other characters as well! Places I could never even imagine having access to Chinas shows in their country. Both the Untamed and Xiao Zhan took the world by storm. For most people in other countries who found their way to the Untamed it was through a series of very short trailers that featured Xiao Zhan without even a title yet on the trailers, that started circulating at least a year or two years before it actually aired. The main one being of Xiao Zhan looking down playing his Dizi, with resentful energy swirling around him as his music builds to a sharp crescendo and then he suddenly looks up, transfixing you with his eyes. Another one had him playing his dizi on the roof then tipping back his head and drinking emperors smile and then laughing. If was after that the translations of the novel began circulating. If there was any show in China I have ever seen that deserved a 10 it was the Untamed! So yeah, we all know that whole douban ratings thing was rigged but did those Douban hackers stop the success of the Untamed or of Xiao Zhan? No? If anything, in the long run things like this made his fans more loyal and more supportive. It takes alot to stand up to bullies and especially when they are attempting to undermine your career and your livelihood. Yet he just kept marching forward with perseverance and faith and that has paid off. I loved seeing his recent blog that was almost like a movie itself and so interesting on Gucci and how their products are made, when he went to their headquarters. This was a promo for their new store they were opening in Shanghai and I loved that they chose him as their ambassador!

I’m sooo glad you ended this video with Xiao zhans voice speaking because I love his singing, I love the characters he portrays, I love seeing him in brand promos fir products he represents and I love seeing him at events and award shows he participates in and the many blogs and videos and updates he puts out fur fans but also I love his art however one of the other things I really love about Xiao Zhan is his speaking voice that often resonates so clearly Who he is, how he is really feeling so clearly. There is something so very unique about Xiao Zhan that stands out above so many others and that I’ve always felt was at the true heart of why he has so many global and international fans. He is in so many ways transparent even onstage or in costume. In just a look he sheds all pretense and you see to the heart of him. No matter what language you speak, no matter what country you are from and no matter if you have ever even heard a world of Chinese before. I think you could sit Xiao Zhan down in any stage and in any country and he still would be so loved, appreciated and valued and so memorable and unforgettable. Particularly his voice, his eyes, his smile and his body movements say so much. You get what he is trying to convey, what any character he is portraying is trying to convey but on top of that you really get what he himself truly feels about this and wants you to know. He is in many ways a mystery within a mystery and an enigma but with only one look you see through to everything he is and wants you to know. This truth resides in his art, the lyrics he chooses and even the roles he picks as well. I love to watch him in certain things when he makes eye contact with the audience and you see this see all of emotion that speaks so many things it’s almost as though those eyes flow like a River with meaning. Many people have often made note of Xiao zhans expressive eyes and the brightness of his smile and you only have to see these once to understand but in particular other than in front of a live audience these things are so visible in the Untamed. I love each and every time Xiao Zhan starts a new project or puts out a ne brand promo or releases behind the scenes footage or appears on a show like “Our Song” or at an event because I get one more fun thing to watch that I know will be worth because he is in it! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
