The 6 steps: 1. To make us worship anything other than لله سبحانه و تعالى 2. Bid’ah: adding to or taking away from the deen, changing the religion from within 3. Falling into Major sins 4. Committing Minor sins 5. Distractions with things, which are neither halal or haram but which are great time wasters e.g surfing the Internet which can be a time sink. 6. Making you choose and do the lesser of good deeds Shaytaan is evil. He leaves you alone when you’re on the wrong path,. However, when you are on the path to لله سبحانه و تعالى , then he starts his attacks. We should always seek refuge with لله سبحانه و تعالى against shaytaan and stay on the straight path. لله سبحانه و تعالى is our Helper.

Eyvallah the 5th point just sparked something in me. Sometimes I’m so caught up by all the distractions (books, games, sports) that I literally ask myself what I just did with my time.. thank you for the reminder
