I can’t tell you how much confidence, in the garden, I’ve gained just by watching your approach to gardening. I’ve moved things when it’s not optimal, stopped freaking out about fertilizing, run all my own drip irrigation and more!! Hearing you say things like - they get biotone when they go in and maybe once during the growing season made feel so much better!!!
right? i've learned so much from her over the years of watching, mostly about how to RELAX and ENJOY the process!! not so much stressing over stuff!!! 🥰
My neighbor gave me some beautiful greenery and Flowers. The greenery of all things produced roots in the vase. I pulled it out and planted it, come to find out it was Cosmos! So if you take cuttings off your cosmos, you can route them in a vase, and then plant them out in the landscape. Who knew?
My husband was a "city boy" and thought all food came from grocery store shelves. When we purchased our first home this farmer's daughter had to have a garden. He was not into vegetables but once he tasted green beans, beets, tomatoes etc. fresh from the garden, he was sold on the garden. Love fresh veggies and tree-ripened fruit. I love watching your videos.
One of the many things I appreciate about you Laura is that you don't over complicate tasks such as measuring fertilizer. You get in and get it done. I've relaxed so much from watching you. I trim back plants, repot, rip out, transplant without the mental questioning. It's so freeing. Thank you for daring to put yourself out there as scared as you were in the beginning. You guys have blessed all of us. Happy 4th of July. 🇺🇲🎆
Hi everyone, Laura never apologized for taking the time to show us something u planted. That's the reason we watch. We're interested in all your projects. How great is it that u prepared your meal with almost everything u grew. I'm disabled so my gardening is very limited. I depend on my husband & a niece that comes over to help every once in a while. Thanks for all your videos. They lift my spirits & my knowledge.
Laura, HOW? The garden is beautiful, the hair is curled, eyeliner in place, and the kids are happy. 😆 I’m really curious to know what your detailed daily routine looks like if you’re willing to share. 🌱
Can you add to your harvesting videos how you preserve the harvest? I am a visual learner also and your videos have helped me tremendously! I want to learn how to freeze and store vegetables. Love you guys!💚
I love seeing food being made from produce from the garden 🥰💕 With all the amazing plants, fruits and veggies that the garden produces, I wonder Laura what plants you wish you could plant that you can't?
Hi Laura. I enjoyed the relaxed tone of this video today. Watching you make your lunch was an unexpected treat. Love your honesty about fertilizing and dealing with weeds,
I love watching you and I’m 64 years old and I have learned so much just from watching your videos. I appreciate you so much for sharing all of your knowledge with us. I look forward everyday to see what your talking about. Thank you so much for all that you do for each and everyone. I love your videos. Happy Independence Day. Have a wonderful time with your family and your celebrations.
that lunch looked super delicious!!! question: would you guys ever consider doing a round table discussion time on screen with all of your team. would love to "meet" Paul, Bethany, and Ken (and anyone else involved) and hear from them - either Q&A style or just round table discussions with you, Aaron, and the team
Your videos are so well done! Great content and production! Ken does such a nice job with all the wonderful footage you provide. Your channel sure is a pleasure to watch.
Happy 4th! So glad i could watch a little gardening before going to work. Fun tip - the big bags of fertilizer - 36 lb espoma bags specifically PERFECTLY fill a 35 lb kitty litter plastic tub. Then you can just lift the flap like you would to scoop out litter. Sturdy handle, stacks nicely and keeps moisture out. Great way to reuse them before recycling!
As a "new bee" gardener, i just roasted and ate the first golden beets i have ever grown... totally understand how outstanding it is to eat food from your own garden. Awesome video and would love to see more garden food prep videos
I've grown some veg this year and literally just picked some garden peas, carrot and potatoes I chose basil and oregano for my herbs. I collected enough for my elderly neighbour. He was so excited. What a pleasure it is to see results. I'm just a beginner but I'm hooked. ❤❤ 🇬🇧
Happy Independence Day all GA buddies. Have a safe and beautiful day. Hubs and I are canning tomatoes today. We live just on the mainland from the beach in coastal NC. There are a lot of tourists here so we stay home on summer holidays.
Happy fourth fellow gardeners. The groundhog family has been enjoying my vegetables and tender perennials in my garden. I’m lucky to get one green bean. 😂. I guess they need to eat too
Was the beginning of this video an attempt at ASMR?! Whatever it was, I LOVE it! Soooo peaceful and relaxing! I love music too but I am REALLY digging the ambient sounds with the morning doves (?) Softly cooing in the background. So serene ❤❤❤ I don't know if everyone else likes it too, but I'm definitely a big fan ❤ Thanks for always sharing amazing content!
I am so sad I can't garden this year but it has been so much fun watching your garden flourish. I live in zone 6 in georgia.we get so much more rain than you guys typically do. It's great to see your rain this year and how your plants are responding so differently.
Doesn't get any better than being your own farmer and knowing how your food is grown and harvesting to go straight to the table! Great inspiration for us all. Looks like a full outdoor kitchen should be on your list of projects Laura! ❣
Garden harvest meals are always the best! I got to make a veggie hash with garlic scape pesto made with herbs I harvested from my garden last night. it was delicious!
I recently got out of a relationship of 2 years and I have been feeling down a lot. Your videos really help me unwind, enjoy the little things and find happiness in everyday simple actions. Thank you for being here and consistently posting wonderful videos!
I aspire to be able to do what you do as far as gardening. I love that you practice what you preach. The amount of knowledge that I have learned and then been able to pass on is in credible. God brings me people with questions about gardening that I have learned directly from you. I always provide the answer and of course share the best gardener I know with them, Laura! You bring joy to my life and I can see how much you appreciate Gods bountiful harvest in you life.
You always look so nice when you are gardening! As for me...not so. I have my hair in a pony tail or a knot under my hat and my "gardening clothes". I'm amazed at how comfortable you look with you hair down and your black shirt in the sun. I would have sweat rolling off me! Thanks for all your videos!
YES! THAT GALLOWAY URN IS BEAUTIFUL..SAME THING I THOUGHT!! everything is beautiful thanks for the reminders cause my garden is beautiful too! Due to those Lil reminders
I found you when I was trying to figure out how to take care of a hydrangea. It was the video about fertilizing in late winter/early spring. I love your approach to things. You show/tell the reason and directions for doing something, tell the best practice you know from the grower, and then you show the practical application which may or may not be the exact best practice. It helps me to not overthink and stress about the task --- just do it.
Laura, your lunch looked so delicious! Something I would like! How good to be able to pick your own veggies and just make a meal! Satisfying! Happy 4th of July to everyone!!!
Happy 4th of July! This was a great reminder, so I'm headed out to fertilize my tomatoes (and scout for Japanese beetles 🧐). I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Stay safe and enjoy!
Homegrown meal cant get better than that! I manage to get a few eggs, green onion tops and tomatoes for a meal once a day from my little farm. The potted plant is shading the other cantaloupe, thats why its smaller! Happy Independence Day Laura and Aaron!
I would love to see a garden center tour . I have some spots to fill and it would be nice to see what options are available as your parents always have such a nice big variety of things. 😄
I was just thinking that it’s been a while since we got a cooking video, so nice to see you enjoying the fruits of your labor! SO excited for the pond, I hope we get multiple videos on the construction and future videos of how it’s progressing. You guys are awesome, thanks for all of the videos!
It was soo good to see you harvest, cook and enjoy garden produce! So satisfying! ❤. Please take care of your hands and face when gardening! Wishing you decades of garden enjoyment!
As a daily watcher for years and years, I’ve celebrated all of the growth. Every move. Every addition. Every choice, the delightful, and the challenging. Never once have I ever been jealous, but only thrilled at your good fortune that comes from all of your hard work. Until today. Watching you rinse off all the herbs and vegetables once again, demonstrated the incredible water pressure you have. I know you don’t take any of your good things for granted, so let me add this to your list. There are those of us who live in towns and on properties where the water pressure isn’t a quarter of what you all have from your wells. We call the city, we call the towns and all we get is shrugs, this happens all over America. When you’re counting your million blessings, please add water pressure. Today I wasn’t jealous, well, maybe a little bit.
There is that. Fortunately, water pressure here is not an issue but I live on a heavily shaded lot (which I adore) so no growing for me. And I have never had a fresh egg in my life. I can only imagine.
I am so grateful for you and Aaron and Garden Answer. Your content brings me so much joy and knowledge. It is a bright spot for me ever day. I love how real the two of you are. I feel like I learn something new every day from you guys. And I share information with anyone who will listen it excited me so much to do something I love so much. Thank you for all you do.
I just picked my last big pickings of snow peas too! I have some coming but will be a smaller harvest and then I will pull my plants too. Love that you are taking advantage of the other part of your property where you have the corn and high tunnel. I think I am going to love these new petunias that you planted today. Please do not forget to show how they perform as time goes on. We do a lot of cemetary plantings in our local cemetary where the deceased no longer have family around to care for them and I love planting new and sometimes vibrant clors! Thanks Laura!! and Oh there is nothing like our own home grown food! Yumm!!!
Watching you use the food, and actually sit down to enjoy it, is just what has been lacking in the videos. You work sooo hard, it’s great to see you do this!
I loved that you took us along for your farm to table lunch! It would be wonderful to see how you prepare your harvests for storage as well beyond what you store in the root cellar. Freezing. Canning for storage or fridge. ❤
What a Blessing to have a video on The 4th of July! Repeating the fruits of the Labor of Love is so wonderful! I am so excited about: Supertunia® Hoopla™ Vivid Orchid™ Petunia hybrid ---- it is such a pretty plant - does not replace my LOVE for BUBBLEGUM. Happy 4th to all! especially Benjamin - who has so much JOY for America!
No need to apologize for showing us beautiful things! I really enjoyed the beginning when you harvested and cooked up your homegrown vegetables and egg.
Hi Laura! What a nice lunch. It's always better eating when the food is from the garden. Those supertunias are pretty and it was nice seeing you fertilize the vegetables. The Galloway Urn is beautiful with what you planted in it. Benjamin was so excited over getting the fireworks. Thank you so much for sharing!
I harvested onions that I grew for the first time and let them dry out for 2 weeks and yesterday was the first time I got to cook with them! They tasted amazing!
Wonderful episode! First time to see the produce cooked n consumed! Well done guys, now we know we're not alone. I hope Benjamin doesn't mind you taking some eggs, haha
The Galloway urn looks beautiful! You're right, there is something about the combination of plants that looks so good in this urn. Maybe the colors? Love Benjamin's excitement about the 4th. Hope you had a wonderful holiday!
This was a video for all your loyal viewers. We all have been gardening for a while. This video is the finer points of gardening. How to maintain and grow bigger yields. A reminder of what to Fertilize and when. Thank you. I will be going out today and Fertilizing. Lol! Thanks for the inspiration. ❤
Good morning & happy, safe 4th of July!! To be able to go out and pick produce from your own yard and make a quick lunch how great is that. Everything looks so green and lush. We are still rather brown and dry with very little rain this season. Enjoy your holiday!
Oh my what a great thing to eat from your own garden! I had roasted veggies just yesterday from our garden...eggplant, squash, onions, peppers....so wonderful! Love all the videos fromGarden Answer!!!
I can’t tell you how much confidence, in the garden, I’ve gained just by watching your approach to gardening. Agreed!
Same here!!
You do realize what you bought is dangerous.
My neighbor gave me some beautiful greenery and Flowers. The greenery of all things produced roots in the vase. I pulled it out and planted it, come to find out it was Cosmos! So if you take cuttings off your cosmos, you can route them in a vase, and then plant them out in the landscape. Who knew?
Wow thanks for sharing!
Great tip..thank you. Cosmos are gorgeous!!!

Happy 4th of July. 🇺🇲🎆
Every time I see the "multiple" Lauras, I wish that was possible in real life. I could get SO much more done!
I love seeing families working together ... it's so wholesome.
Thanks Laura for putting out a video on a Holiday especially for people that have no where to go or anyone ❤️
Hope you continue to enjoy the day and find something lovely to do for yourself. You deserve it!🎉❤
Happy 4th of July!
Enjoy your day doing something you Love! Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸!!

Yes, that would be a fun video.
Such a great idea to wash veggies outside before bring them in!!
And that basket is fantastic. I'm going to get one asap!
Can you add to your harvesting videos how you preserve the harvest? I am a visual learner also and your videos have helped me tremendously! I want to learn how to freeze and store vegetables. Love you guys!💚
Awesome video . By the way, we love it when you get distracted! Who doesn't love a daily dose of beauty?
I love seeing food being made from produce from the garden 🥰💕 With all the amazing plants, fruits and veggies that the garden produces, I wonder Laura what plants you wish you could plant that you can't?
Hi Laura. I enjoyed the relaxed tone of this video today. Watching you make your lunch was an unexpected treat. Love your honesty about fertilizing and dealing with weeds,
Aside from planting,Harvesting are one of favorite videos of GA♥️♥️♥️

This is such a great idea, and the subject keeps coming up I’ve noticed. 😉
I'm still on a high from picking directly from the garden last night to make supper. 😁🙌 It's just a very good feeling!
It's magical!!
@@hawkeye9382 I like it so much better than big batch preserving for the winter, but plan to do that too. 😅
🥕Good day everyone. Enjoying the gardens’ bounty makes this gardeners heart smile. Happy 4th 👏🏻❤️🎉🎊💙
YAY!! Happy 4th gardening friends!! Thank you for the surprise video! Everything looks awesome !!

The Galloway urn looks so stunning!! Thank you for sharing that inspiration!
Happy 4th! So glad i could watch a little gardening before going to work. Fun tip - the big bags of fertilizer - 36 lb espoma bags specifically PERFECTLY fill a 35 lb kitty litter plastic tub. Great tip!!
Doesn't it feel good to know the plants got some food? Also farm to table is the best!! 👍👏😊Happy 4th of July Benjamin 🇺🇸🎉💕
Yes I agree. And in this day and age gardening is very important. It's good to know where you food comes from and that you have some.
It was so satisfying watching you pick, clean and prepare your lunch.
Happy 4th of July to you all.
You can’t beat fresh vegetables from the garden!
Laura, it’s lovely to see you doing something nice just for yourself.
I've always loved the Galloway urn in your garden, but this arrangement is the best!
As a "new bee" gardener, i just roasted and ate the first golden beets i have ever grown... totally understand how outstanding it is to eat food from your own garden. Awesome video and would love to see more garden food prep videos

Good Morning! Hope everyone has a beautiful day. I agree Laura, home grown is much more flavorful and healthy. Enjoying the fruit of your labor.
Loved this one! How good is life, when you can harvest your lunch, prepare it outside, and enjoy the healthy, freshest food from your own garden!
Looks like the chickens enjoyed it too! 🐓 🥕 🥦🥔
Happy Independence Day everyone! Thanks for another great Video Laura. Love Benjamin’s excitement.🇺🇸🎇
Wow! I’ve never seen potatoes harvested like that. Everything looks just fantastic. It is so wonderful that you appreciate what you have created. 💕💕💕
Yes after washing the potatoes you can just wipe the skin off with your fingers.
Happy Independence Day all GA buddies. Have a safe and beautiful day. Hubs and I are canning tomatoes today. We live just on the mainland from the beach in coastal NC. There are a lot of tourists here so we stay home on summer holidays.
Love the intro. Just working in garden no music ASMR. Coffee and Garden Answer while I sit here watching yet more rain in NH
Happy fourth fellow gardeners. The groundhog family has been enjoying my vegetables and tender perennials in my garden. I’m lucky to get one green bean. 😂. I guess they need to eat too
Nothing better than cooking a meal with your own garden ingredients! So fun and yummy.

That planter is my style!! It's gorgeous!!
I live on the east coast and you said it looks like we are getting a thunderstorms and at the same time I started hearing thunder here .
I am so sad I can't garden this year but it has been so much fun watching your garden flourish. I live in zone 6 in georgia.we get so much more rain than you guys typically do. It's great to see your rain this year and how your plants are responding so differently.

Such a nice surprise...a video on a holiday! Awesome video ! Have a great day. 😄
Garden harvest meals are always the best! I got to make a veggie hash with garlic scape pesto made with herbs I harvested from my garden last night. it was delicious!
This makes me so happy! This is the reason I garden. There is nothing more gratifying than harvesting and eat it fresh all in the same day!
I recently got out of a relationship of 2 years and I have been feeling down a lot. Your videos really help me unwind, enjoy the little things and find happiness in everyday simple actions. Thank you for being here and consistently posting wonderful videos!
Hang in there. ❤
As a recent widow, I can relate to this. Finding happiness or contentment in the simple everyday things of life is an important part of healing.
That hoopla vivid orchid supertunia looks so good with that boom chocolatta geranium 😍
“Weeds just look amazing, no matter what” LOL. Great video - my favorite one so far. :)

Laura, it's a joy to watch you in your garden! Your enthusiasm, energy and work ethic inspires me.
How wonderful being able to harvest from your garden and then be able to clean them outside instead of messing up the kitchen!
Love when you share cooking videos!🩷
My dream to grow our own food since childhood every day I still dream. Lovely, Laura❤❤❤Happy 4th everyone❤❤❤
I found you when I was trying to figure out how to take care of a hydrangea. It was the video about fertilizing in late winter/early spring. I love your approach to things. Happy 4th of July! This was a great reminder, so I'm headed out to fertilize my tomatoes (and scout for Japanese beetles 🧐). I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Stay safe and enjoy!
Of all the Unique Stone pieces that you have, my favorite is the Galloway urn. You always have such pleasing plant combinations in them.
Upstate SC: first servings of corn on the cob today--wahooooo! Appropriate day, eh? Celebrate!
Homegrown meal cant get better than that! I manage to get a few eggs, green onion tops and tomatoes for a meal once a day from my little farm. The potted plant is shading the other cantaloupe, thats why its smaller! Happy Independence Day Laura and Aaron!
A different introduction - bravo!
Lunch looked delicious! You inspired me to get my vegetable garden going. Thank you!
I loved the beginning with just the background sounds of the chicken, birds, etc.
I love when you harvest. It's one of my favorite videos!! And to watch what you make with the fresh ingredients is even better!!!
Watching you use the food, and actually sit down to enjoy it, is just what has been lacking in the videos. You work sooo hard, it’s great to see you do this!
great video and your lunch looked yummy
I loved that you took us along for your farm to table lunch! It would be wonderful to see how you prepare your harvests for storage as well beyond what you store in the root cellar. Freezing. Canning for storage or fridge. ❤
What a Blessing to have a video on The 4th of July! Repeating the fruits of the Labor of Love is so wonderful! I am so excited about: Supertunia® Hoopla™ Vivid Orchid™
Petunia hybrid ---- it is such a pretty plant - does not replace my LOVE for BUBBLEGUM. Happy 4th to all! especially Benjamin - who has so much JOY for America!
No need to apologize for showing us beautiful things! I really enjoyed the beginning when you harvested and cooked up your homegrown vegetables and egg.
The Galloway urn is my favorite. The arrangement this year is so very charming.
Great video guys, very ASMR beginning 👍🏼

Fresh veggies always the best! Also, love the combination of plants in the urn
I think it is so great to take things from your garden and cook and eat. That's what I want to do soon. Planning on it. You are so blessed!!🎉
Beautiful lunch. I love seeing you harvest and cook as well. Everything looks so good.

Happy 4th!!! So cute Benjamin’s Fireworks🇺🇸Kids make the Hilda’s with their excitement! Beautiful urn romantic mix🪻🌱🌸
Nothing more delicious than the food that you grow from the garden.
Thank you for stopping to show the container. It’s fab!
Such a quick and healthy lunch. For my household we grow cherry toms, kale, jalapeño and basil. Yes, eating from your garden does taste better. 👍🏼🙏🏻😎
