    Archbishop Nikitas (Lulias) of Thyateira and Great Britain holds the position of Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Great Britain within the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, following his election by the Sacred and Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate on June 12, 2019. Prior to assuming his current role, Archbishop Nikitas served as the metropolitan bishop of the Dardanelles and as director of the Patriarch Athenagoras Orthodox Institute in Berkeley, California. Previously, he held the esteemed position of the first metropolitan bishop of the Greek Orthodox Metropolitanate of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. He is the permanent representative of Patriarch Bartholomew to the Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders.
