An extraordinary piece of film-making art. You were held spellbound the whole time and didn't want to miss a word that was said. Charles Durning played a small town visiting judge, but he showed big-time mastery of the courtroom.
A dramatic movie. Twist and turn gives suspense. Brilliant direction.

Brilliant movie, so much intrigue, courtroom action, and mystery solving. Haven’t seen anything as good in ages.
Strong writing, to think about including evidence inside a little girls' bear is fabulous. A great scene is when all three man, judge, and both attorneys are talking at the same time, good acting.
That was one court case that I really enjoyed. The ending of which I hadn't anticipated.. Good acting as well.
