Woodlock - Forever Ago | Punt Sessions

When you think Melbourne buskers you think Woodlock! These guys have been killing it for the last few years and have made a great name and following for themselves. We were big fans of them before they came onboard and we are so glad that they did!
It was a rainy day in Autumn but that didn't stop Woodlock in fact the rain adds to the mood of their incredibly touching song Forever Ago.
Punt Sessions is an ongoing video series posting new sessions weekly. We film our acoustic boat sessions on a boat called a Punt in the middle of The Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.

My partner and i were recently on holiday in Melbourne and walked out of the Vic Market and heard Woodlock playing... we both thought what an amazing sound and stood and just listened to some really GOOD music... we bought their cd for $10.00... the best $10.00 we had spent on our holiday... i listen to it in my car on repeat most days (when we take my car) and i still love it, like the first day i purchased it...My favorite music comes from the RHCP, Little Birdy, Sarah Blasko and now Woodlock...We'll soon be heading out of our 40's and starting into our 50's...And what a way to start that journey, with fantastic easy listening Australian music, with no pretence of anything other than what it is.... darn good music...Well done to all those who contribute to making this band work....

I experienced the same thing! I saw them play the Vic Market around May, and thought their music was like a hidden gem, and i was so happy that i got to take a part of Melbourne and Australia with me back home when i got that cd!
