Vintage Hand Drill Restoration - Ixion - Made in Germany
Hello everyone,
In this story I am restoring a completely broken hand drill.
This friend is from Germany. I really like the brand which is Ixion. Also I have one Ixion bench drill but this is another story :)
It was a difficult restoration, I had to make a very fine and sensitive repair in order for the gears to work comfortably. At the end, I was very pleased with the result.
Mr. Ixion is very strong and handsome now !!!

Ayrıntılara verdiğiniz önemi kaçırmamak adına tekrar seyrettiğim bu seferde farkettim ki; ixion bu modelinde ahşap sap kısmı bitime yakın o çizgiden vidalanarak ayrılır halde üretti; içinde uçları depolamak amacıyla, muhtemelen sizinki de döndürülerek çıkıyor olmalı. Vielen Dank mein lieber Freund. Die Java-Engine erfordert viel Zeit und Mühe. Ich arbeite alleine und es ist möglicherweise nicht einfach, langfristige Arbeit zu dokumentieren. Vielleicht werde ich mit der Zeit den RUclips-Kanal erweitern und jemanden zum Shooting mitbringen.

Very handy! I like the flashback to to the way it looked before it was restored then showing it restored. A shot was a perfect ending! I have joined twice! I have seen couple of these hand drill restoration but it never ceases to amaze me how ingenious these tools are. If you ask me much cooler looking than todays tools. Great job saving it ...loved your use of wrapping paper - so old school lol

One of Mr. IXION's brothers works in my workshop, he's just an ugly duckling compared to your swan. But a good employee that I wouldn't want to be without. I'll tell him about you and his beautiful brother during the days, with a glass of red wine at the workbench, at the end of the day.
