I just completed my 4th season with my first pair of gallivanters. I love them so much I’ve bought 2 more pairs of gallivanters since. They are now starting to leak but after 4 seasons to be expected. Shoe trees! Cedar shoe trees really aided in the longevity of these shoes.
How are the spikes holding up Paul? I had one break after my first round then 3 rounds in quite a few had broken off and they aren’t replaceable. Granted my course has a lot of stone paths so probably would be ok sticking to grass but not sure how possible that is at most courses. Had a pair of the MG4 as well but the sole started coming away. Lovely looking shoes but wasn’t impressed with the durability at all.
Love Notts and we're fortunate enough to have a friend who is a member there so get it for twenty or twenty five quid...cant be beaten for that money. 10 rounds and they're showing scuffs and wear? Thats not good Paul. Also I'm not a lover of spikeless shoes, theyre great for comfort but when you wear the studs down, or they break off, the shoes are done, finished, dead, they are no more, they are deceased golf shoes 😂😂😂 Oh, and they are worth of the Yorkshire War Cry... "Owww much????"
Golf shoes can’t live forever matey. If they are more than a couple of years old and if you play as much as do, they will be toast anyway These are super stylish and comfy 👌🏼
@@GolfShow You should be ok Paul. You have a lot of shoes (like me) and rotate them, take care if them they can and do last for many years. Spikeless however, simply don't last and in my view are a money making con fostered on us by the golf industry...Mr Cynical here 😉
Great to finally find a recent review of these. I've been on the fence over buying a pr as I'm in the south of Ireland and because of whatever muppet thought brexit was a good idea I need to ship to my friend in Belfast so returning isn't straight forward for me if the sizing is wrong. I'm a 41/7.5 in ecco biom c4 and 7/40.5 in footjoy hyperflex so stuck on what to order 🤔
Got to admire the commitment. No ego, just done for the love of the sport and providing info for normal golfers. Good work
Thanks David
A couple of great shots during the vlog, Paul. Looked and sounded blustery at Wallasey. Hollinwell looked in great knick, as did the GFore shoes 👍👍👍
Cheers Kev. Really happy with the episode. Been lucky to play such great courses recently. Did you see someone shot 63 at Fulford in the R&A today?!?!

Great to hear. I’m a shoe trees guy too 👌🏼. I fancy a pair in grey next
Lovely shoe, and way nicer than those expensive footboys you covered!

When you dumb as hell and dont pay attention this will happen 😂 stay indoors youre not ready for outside
Just picked up a pair for £76 in the GFore sale😂
Awesome enjoy.
Are they better than Ecco though. Ecco’s are amazing
That’s really weird cause I actually had to go down a half a size.
Interesting. Is there a specific brand you are going down from?
Thanks for commenting, Paul

@@KentnDebi as my dad used to say. Shoes are like watches. You pays for what you don’t see 👌🏼
