My mom and dad had a hand in the startup of the New England Sire Stakes 'way back in the 60's, and we always had a homebred or two that was raced in Maine and the rest of New England. I can just barely remember Loring Norton himself. Thoughts and prayers for Maine racing (and by racing, I mean trotting) now that Scarborough is gone. 😕 Thanks so much for posting this! 👍
My parents always had a homebred or two, and we raced 'em on mostly on the Maine circuit. Good luck! Can't help wondering what will happen with the Maine circuit with Scarborough gone? 😟

Great show. Love the horses and people associated with them.

too bad harness racing was and still is so crooked...hastened its demise!
