@John Taylor "Playing race card" is a term applied to each and every person who speaks out on racial abuses they either witness or are victim to. The term is a persons way to negate abuses they deem justified. You being willfully ignorant of an abuse because you agree with it does not change the fact that it happened or that it was racially motivated. If you find people calling out racial abuse so offensive, you should ask yourself why speaking on it is so troublesome for you, but the act itself is justifiable in your mind.

bahaha..this is what's known as pro police propaganda. As in ROTC at his university put on a skit to counter what's most recently been going on with the police and black men. (he appears to be a in a stupor).
These cities reputation has taken a hit.. the university community reacts buy putting on a skit depicting a police officer not shooting but instead taking a firm and paternalistic position with the black ROTC soon to be officer himself. BTW I didn't see any police..saw and heard from only white people from the university in this skit and the couple who said they live "across"...HOWEVER I'm seeing a paternalistic relationship here with the whites and supposed cops who supposedly responded to a call.. Tells black man to go home and do that..The INFANTILIZING of the black man (boy might get hurt with the gun).
Skits may convey several meanings on several different levels..they tend to exploit issues of the day to bring our thoughts and emotions to a more comfortable place..

Why should he have to adapt to the sensibilities of others? I think doing that in the middle of the street, may make people worry for his safety. Because standing in the middle is dangerous. Becauae it takes one person to act crazy and try to run the kid over. We are all happy the officer that came was level headed. I am glad this child has a passion

He was just set up to die at some time in the future. He assumes that something he did defused the situation but that is far from the actual situation. He was very lucky that the cops who responded were rational and did not immediately shoot him on sight. In Ohio a few years back a young black man was holding a TOY rifle on display in a Walmart when a cop arrived and shot him dead on sight, no questions nothing the cop just killed him because of the toy AND GOT AWAY WITH IT.

All that stuff you people are suggesting it makes sense but in the end it's still BS you should have to be worried about the cops being called could you practice and drills for ROTC you shouldn't have to worry about the cops being called because you in the street in front of your house or in your yard you should have to go on the backyard to do things that you should be able to do simply so it's all good suggestions but still BS in the end
