the fact that there was no fantasy life update was really upsetting. i played the first game into the ground and i need this new one to hurry up T-T

First time seeing a video from you! Popped up in my recommended. Was so strange to see someone being so hyped for the farm sim/ cozy games... the streamers whom i normally watch rolled their eyes on those games and skipped through. Lol it was interesting to see! Normally, when a console reaches their end of life twilight days, remakes are the primary games as majority of resources are switched to the newest console. We'll prbly get word about the switch's successor early 2024. The ttyd remake has been long awaited for years and got me so hyped!! It was my childhood along with many other streamers I've watched! For me this was a 10 direct, but it was interesting to see someone with a vastly different tastes in games!
I know it would mean more work but I feel like they should do more themed directs. Like if a bunch of cozy games are coming out, have a 'Cozy Direct (or a more clever name but still letting people know its just cozy games)'. A ton of RPGs? 'RPG Direct', etc. I think a LOT of people would appreciate it though I doubt they will ever do that unfortunately 😕. I'm a big RPG (specifically Fire Emblem but I might give other ones a try) fan and I REEAALLY don't want to start to hear people sigh with annoyance after seeing five RPGs in one general Direct. Would I probably faint with excitement at a RPG Direct? Absolutely, same with a Cozy Direct. But I know a lot of people don't like the same stuff as I do and that's fine but I don't want them to waste their time on something they aren't going to enjoy personally.
Nintendo doesn’t do this but Wholesome games actually does a yearly “Wholesome Direct” which is a whole showcase of JUST cozy games! Nintendo also does “Indie World Direct” which I tend to find has wayyy more cozy games than the regular directs as well!

I just said I wanted the news on the next game-even if they told us it was coming 2 years from now. The game came out 3 years ago- I don’t think that’s greedy at all.
