    In this short video (of course I also watched the longer one about the Blaaws) you can learn so much from Peter - not only about plants and Bonsai but also about life in general and the way you can approach to certain tasks, etc 👍

    I tried this many, many times. It works, certainly in combination with rooting powder! Try to keep the cuttings moist but certainly not soaking wet.

    Very nice instructional video on cuttings. Like the tray selected, where one could get maximum rooted cuttings. Yes, Mr. Chan, you are never too old or experienced something new in this living art and life. Your enthusiasm is very well accepted. KEEP GOING !

    Peter where have all the lovely trees you have in that green house gone?

    • @peterchan3100
      @peterchan3100 9 месяцев назад

      We take them outside during the summer - the greenhouse will soon be filled up when we overwinter our trees from the cold.

    _THANK YOU, THANK YOU...🙏 😔 🙏_
    Dr. Chan, this short video is a great resource. It is filled with great information, as usual.
    Question: You mentioned heat, how much or what level of heat is needed? Will the compost generate enough heat in a very moist, semi tropical environment.
    I had been trowing away a great number of cuttings. I am giving "everyone", a chance to become a _Bonsai._ I am using old pots, as well as trays

    I was waiting for this video. Will these cuttings withstand outside in UK winter?

    • @peterchan3100
      @peterchan3100 9 месяцев назад +3

      They will survive but best to protect from frost.

    I follow a guy from japan. He takes itoigawa cuttings thumb thickness and less. The thicker ones takes about 2 yrs to strike. He buries thick branches and after 2 yrs he has incredible raft style beginners.
