First one has been tested plenty of times, the caramels dont melt like you want them to and will likely just stick to the pan anyway.

The first one, in Romania, we call it Bird Milk but we don't use caramel and nuts just a lot of vanilla sauce and the puffy thing.
In France it's called " floating island " or in french "île flottante "
And the whipped eggwhite "balls"are steamed in milk. The dessert is best served cooled.

Everything I ever read about making meringue was to beat the whites until soft peaks form THEN add sugar. Adding sugar at the beginning can keep the whites from getting stiff.
And I wonder about the caramels in the pan. I saw another video going over doing something similar and the caramels just stuck to the pan.
What pan allows you to pick up melted sugar with out it sticking?

I'm beginning to think videos showing melting worthers caramels are really wax models. Since the channel how to cook that showed it's virtually impossible to melt hard caramel worthers in a pan without it burning even when done slowly
