At the end you see that all of these interactions have been taking place in their imaginations. It's all in their heads. That's why the last chorus is different. The two earlier are about how he'll make her love him and that they'll laugh in the end, but until she does she can say anything about she wants, it won't change him. The last chorus changes a little as, in the video, we see them realizing that this has all been a figment of their deluded imaginations, and it's the sane part of them resigning to the fact that he can't make her love him.
They are still getting more popular because of their "Queen" music video but I think this music video got them rising slightly. This was the first video of history I have watched so far and I'm surprised myself

Rather than persuading and portraying an abusive relationship in a good light, this song is actually doing the opposite. It's taking the situations of abusive relationships and bringing these problems in to focus. The song almost explains how the abuser feels and what kind of things they do, but in the end they understand their wrong doing (the members and themselves try to stop what they are doing throughout the MV) and they understand that they are 'Psycho' (name of song). An abuser wouldn't call themselves a psycho unless they had some acknowledgement of the fact that what they are doing is wrong.
I realized something, at 2:51, they are beckoning with their palm down (the polite version) which means that they somewhat respect the stalkee as a person; however, if you look at VIXX's Chained Up, they beckon with their palm up. From what I heard, Chained Up is about bdsm, which needs respect from both partners in order for it to work. This is just a small detail I thought I should point out,
I really love this MV. It's a great portrayal of an obsessive, abusive love, and it's honestly very creepy. The song is also great, the choreography is amazing, and the dark concept is very fresh. Plus, all of the boys look so handsome! I just hope that some of us fans won't get the wrong idea about this. This kind of relationship is not alright. We all want our oppas to love us, because we love them, but trust me, getting treated in such a way is not right, and neither is giving such treatment to somebody else. It's messed up, so don't let people treat you like this just because they're attractive.

I found this video quite interesting. Like the description said, this is about a person who suffered from multi personalities mental disorder. It also said that the black and white scenes of this video portrays the past. Which means back when he first discovered his disease, he was trying to fight them, but now he dances in unison with then, which probably means he gave up and is now letting his disorder take over him.

I really don't remember the last time a video intrigued me this much. I LOVE analyzing kpop videos and this video and song really imply quite a bit and it's just so twisted and disturbing but they did a really great job with it. there's so much i can say about it and i feel like it still won't be enough to convey whatever message this video is giving.
As someone who has been an avid Hitchcock buff since 2004, this video is nothing short of a masterpiece for me. Although Psycho is not my favourite film from "the master of suspense" (that honour goes to Rear Window) I love the way History incorporate endless Hitchcockian devices and references here. Yi Jeong is awesome obviously aping Anthony Perkins' mannerisms as Norman Bates and Si Hyoung also looks suitably demented in his rap verse.
This song is certainly something new to my ears. I always find that cool when I can't really think of a song it sounds like, because it truly is that different (to me anyway). I don't completely understand why everyone wishes they, and other lesser known groups, receive more attention. Sure, the company and entertainers need to make money; but that attention has a steep price at some point. What makes the entertainment business different from the others is that the product their selling is human, and thus the product has more limitations. If the entertainers are in very high demand, they're subjected to riskier conditions (less sleep and privacy) and poorer quality (terrible songs and disinteresting, mass-appealing concepts) than if they were less in demand. Also, popularity does not mean success or quality (high school would really suck if that were the case). That being said, I think HISTORY is a quality, successful group. And because they're under a company that gets their main revenue from other activities (music distribution), they don't have to be "popular" to keep on going. This means we get interesting music and concepts that aren't necessarily popular but are still entertaining -- because they don't NEED to be popular. Keep up the good work! ^^
Very well said ! I just am afraid that these less popular bands would stop bringing out music at some point because they don't bring in enough money. If the cost for the company is higher than the income they maybe are forced to let a band stop their activities. I would feel terrible losing a good quality band.

Ok.... first of all.... I don't know why but i simply adore psychopaths. From Lee Joon in Gabdongi with his crazy smile and murderous ways, to Iziya in Durarara. So i loved this concept. And from what i grasped this song is about a pycho who becomes infatuated with this woman and thus obsessive. LOVE IT! I wish more groups went with this concept. Second, there are some parts that are catchy as hell. Vocals were amazing.
You know if you put all the history MVs together they tell a story. Guy falls in love (dreamer and tell me love) suffers through heartbreak ( what am I to you) and becomes obsessive after a breakup(psycho).

I'm glad they gave Jaeho more lines, because he has and amazing voice, and he did great in this song. She struggles, saying things, but he doesn’t care what she calls him; "she doesn’t mean it". And considering the lyrics change from “we’ll be smiling” to “i’ll be the only one crying”, I’m going to assume he murders her because he can’t let her go.

This video was more like a artistic interpretation of the chaos in one's mind when they are not equipped to deal with a relationship that has crumbled, when that person refuses to let go quietly. It was definitely provocative and it was as erotic as it was disturbing. The craziest thing about this video is that this scenario is common, but reality is nowhere near as pretty as this. People are crazy, but they can become far worse when the intensity of their emotions won't be tamed or controlled. It was bold to write a song about it, but it took balls and creative genius to make a video this edgy fly without backlash.

I know that this songs meaning can hold lots of triggers. But as a fan of dark things such as Hannibal I really love all of the symbolism etc in this and I see hem more as murderors. The 80s vibe is also pretty cool and the black and white scenes and outfits match that (I think??) And then I came across this song. HOW IS THIS GROUP NOT MORE WELL KNOWN? This song is amazing, and blows Might Just Die out of the water. Like, completely. I love being able to see how hard the group worked on the choreo and promotions for Might Just Die, because of that jump at the end, but this song here should've launched them if nothing else did. I feel bad now, having not bothered to pay attention to them or give their stuff a listen.
I randomly remembered about History and this song I used to love. And I still love it after 6 years. They deserved so much more, I’m sad the world didn’t get to know and appreciate them more. This is the first i've seen of History and i dig the song. It sounds kinda retro-electric, if that's even a genre. The concept kinda comes off similar to the stuff VIXX does, although I feel VIXX usually goes for a theme that is detached from reality, like the paranormal/supernatural, and the concept is very "in your face" but with History, they picked a dark theme that might be even more bothersome because it's something that could be a reality so it resonates with you a little more and unlike VIXX, they imply a lot of this concept, instead of coming right out and adressing it, so it kinda leaves you with a troubled feeling. I really love everything VIXX does, but i think History really did something original with a dark concept that i don't think even VIXX has touched before. VIXX can do scary, but as for disturbing and twisted, History really nailed it.

Jaeho is my bias. Love his voice, dancing, musicality, his energy and stage presence. He is very charismatic and hot. This haircut is working out great for him.
I found this video quite interesting. Like the description said, this is about a person who suffered from multi personalities mental disorder. It also said that the black and white scenes of this video portrays the past. Which means back when he first discovered his disease, he was trying to fight them, but now he dances in unison with then, which probably means he gave up and is now letting his disorder take over him.

I really don't remember the last time a video intrigued me this much. I LOVE analyzing kpop videos and this video and song really imply quite a bit and it's just so twisted and disturbing but they did a really great job with it. there's so much i can say about it and i feel like it still won't be enough to convey whatever message this video is giving.
As someone who has been an avid Hitchcock buff since 2004, this video is nothing short of a masterpiece for me. Although Psycho is not my favourite film from "the master of suspense" (that honour goes to Rear Window) I love the way History incorporate endless Hitchcockian devices and references here. Yi Jeong is awesome obviously aping Anthony Perkins' mannerisms as Norman Bates and Si Hyoung also looks suitably demented in his rap verse.
This song is certainly something new to my ears. I always find that cool when I can't really think of a song it sounds like, because it truly is that different (to me anyway).
I don't completely understand why everyone wishes they, and other lesser known groups, receive more attention. Sure, the company and entertainers need to make money; but that attention has a steep price at some point.
What makes the entertainment business different from the others is that the product their selling is human, and thus the product has more limitations. If the entertainers are in very high demand, they're subjected to riskier conditions (less sleep and privacy) and poorer quality (terrible songs and disinteresting, mass-appealing concepts) than if they were less in demand. Also, popularity does not mean success or quality (high school would really suck if that were the case).
That being said, I think HISTORY is a quality, successful group. And because they're under a company that gets their main revenue from other activities (music distribution), they don't have to be "popular" to keep on going. This means we get interesting music and concepts that aren't necessarily popular but are still entertaining -- because they don't NEED to be popular.

Very well said ! I just am afraid that these less popular bands would stop bringing out music at some point because they don't bring in enough money. If the cost for the company is higher than the income they maybe are forced to let a band stop their activities.
I would feel terrible losing a good quality band.
And I also want it because I think it makes them happy, I want them to feel appreciated for what they do.
Oh trust me I do too! Ideally, if they could be at that popularity level of wide recognition (but before the rushed quality and scary fans) that would be great! I'm sure they'd be happy about that too! ^^

Ok.... first of all.... I don't know why but i simply adore psychopaths. From Lee Joon in Gabdongi with his crazy smile and murderous ways, to Iziya in Durarara. So i loved this concept. And from what i grasped this song is about a pycho who becomes infatuated with this woman and thus obsessive. LOVE IT! I wish more groups went with this concept. Second, there are some parts that are catchy as hell. Vocals were amazing.

You know if you put all the history MVs together they tell a story. Guy falls in love (dreamer and tell me love) suffers through heartbreak ( what am I to you) and becomes obsessive after a breakup(psycho).

As expected watching the live shows (mbc, inkigayo) and the teasers, the mv is perfect, and reading those comments about people wanting to know about them makees me feel really happy and proud of being a storia.

A girl befriends a boy without knowing he is insane. The boy falls for her, and begins stalking her. Without knowing this, the girl notices dark changes in his behavior and tries to cut ties with him by slowly distancing herself. The boy doesn’t take this for an answer and kidnaps the girl. She struggles, saying things, but he doesn’t care what she calls him; "she doesn’t mean it". And considering the lyrics change from “we’ll be smiling” to “i’ll be the only one crying”, I’m going to assume he murders her because he can’t let her go.
I can say that this song is an epitome of obsessive psychopath... What a life...

I seriously think history is wayyy too underrated like they are so talented in both singing and dancing they deserve a way bigger fan base!! Been a fan since the beginning! The song is awesome and the theme is so well thought out!!! History fighting!!
This video was more like a artistic interpretation of the chaos in one's mind when they are not equipped to deal with a relationship that has crumbled, when that person refuses to let go quietly. It was definitely provocative and it was as erotic as it was disturbing. The craziest thing about this video is that this scenario is common, but reality is nowhere near as pretty as this. People are crazy, but they can become far worse when the intensity of their emotions won't be tamed or controlled. It was bold to write a song about it, but it took balls and creative genius to make a video this edgy fly without backlash.

I know that this songs meaning can hold lots of triggers. But as a fan of dark things such as Hannibal I really love all of the symbolism etc in this and I see hem more as murderors. The 80s vibe is also pretty cool and the black and white scenes and outfits match that (I think??) I hope they continue with dark concepts purely because I have a strong liking for the dark and twisted because I'm weird ahaha!

...Okay, so I've been listening to "Might Just Die" on and off since it came out, and it was the first HISTORY song I'd actually listened to, though I'd known of the group for a while. And then I came across this song.
HOW IS THIS GROUP NOT MORE WELL KNOWN? This song is amazing, and blows Might Just Die out of the water. Like, completely. I love being able to see how hard the group worked on the choreo and promotions for Might Just Die, because of that jump at the end, but this song here should've launched them if nothing else did.
I feel bad now, having not bothered to pay attention to them or give their stuff a listen.
I randomly remembered about History and this song I used to love. And I still love it after 6 years. They deserved so much more, I’m sad the world didn’t get to know and appreciate them more. I’m happy I knew them back when they were still a group and even saw them in a concert. I’ve been so lucky and I’ll treasure those memories

My god all these years and now I look into this mv from a different point..that is ...the 👉👈the ..fact that these guys are touching each other alot.
This is the first i've seen of History and i dig the song. It sounds kinda retro-electric, if that's even a genre. The concept kinda comes off similar to the stuff VIXX does, although I feel VIXX usually goes for a theme that is detached from reality, like the paranormal/supernatural, and the concept is very "in your face" but with History, they picked a dark theme that might be even more bothersome because it's something that could be a reality so it resonates with you a little more and unlike VIXX, they imply a lot of this concept, instead of coming right out and adressing it, so it kinda leaves you with a troubled feeling. I really love everything VIXX does, but i think History really did something original with a dark concept that i don't think even VIXX has touched before. VIXX can do scary, but as for disturbing and twisted, History really nailed it.
I am sad,they are really talented.But,so much underrated.I love you history
