But this song suits em perfectly…. after being torture as a child slave in death arena, hiding in the snowy mountain, then a soldier in a fallen army, not once xiang liu found someone to play with. Until he met xiao yao. They are both raised in torturing chamber, that’s why their love language a bit physically extreme and sometimes emotionally unbalanced. But their love,… oh how they are so loyal to their love ones.
spoiler…. in the book she had indirectly confessed her love, but he answer “Xiao yao, I can’t marry you. This body already promised for a nation/land”. They met at the wrong time.

@@Melody-dm2oj I realize Xiangliu push her to Jing all the time because he knows Jing can give the life she wants than him. I now truly understand the story. In my own understanding, This is XIangliu and Xiangyao love story but the author make 3 male lead because one is for frienship (cangxian) one is for Jing who is really needed in the story because Xiangliu cannot really be with her just like Xiangyao parents stories. Her biological father is a demon too and they cannot be together as well because they are enemies and their status. As you notice, XIanglui is a demon, an enemy and his army needs him badly. He cannot give up everything for xiaoyao. As you remember, XIaoyao asked Xiangliu to give up eveyrthing and she is bolder than him to be with him forever but Xiangliu felt sad and hid his real emotion through smile but he is hurt inside. All he can do is always to save her, protect her, love her without labels. They both know they are truly inlove with each other. One proof is the couple love poison bugs. I finally understand everything.
@@iamtamadtv6018 You know, this story really reminds me of Gong Ziyu and Yun Weishan, and Gong Shangjue and Shangguan Qian from My Journey To You because if we talk about it realistically, both of the couples come from the opposite sides of each other. One side is the assassin side and the other side is the prejudice side, so they are enemies as well. Although, both Yun Weishan and Shangguan Qian had the choice to leave Wufeng, both of them know that can't truly happen because no matter what you can't leave Wufeng even if you think you're free, you are really not. Wufeng will still come to you, just like as the end of the episode where after Yun Weishan went to "her" birth town and meet her twin sister there, Wufeng people still appears around her. And Shangguan Qian, she may be free but her heart is not free from Wufeng due to her vengeance heart towards Wufeng being too deep.

The actor played Xiang Liu so well!!! But honestly he is not the one for her. I wouldnt choose someone who keeps on hurting me continuously just cause he is confused or likes teasing. He helps her and protects her, but he still isn't the one for her. He is the bad boy whom a girl can date just to realise that they need a good man.
Yes, too bad they know it from the start they didn’t meant for each other. as a ‘good man’ type, if you watch it only at season 1 and not the book it was understandable. But for me, among all 4 man. He was the good one. 😂 But honestly for me none of those 4 man is the one for her. If only she’s not afraid to be alone, I would say to her.. they all crap bag 😂😂
one trade her for power, one only care the pride of having the best bride, one have no backbone and keep swaying as what others says. xiang liu is just because they’re not meant to be, and his emotional strike 😂 but she love it. It’s in the blood I guess, her biological father are worse than xiang liu in the anger management area and that’s what attracts her mom to him 😅 my mom watches the prequel drama in annoyance of how such man could be love 😂. in this fantasy land, xiang liu is the good man. cause others are worse 😅

@@Leonitanaga LMAO Me too Chi Yo has severe anger management issues but man, XL is lighter haha. XL is actually even better and upgraded version haha more mature. Amongst the 4 men, he's the man one.. XL is so much better than Xy's biological father. They are meant to be tho just not to end together in this life. And if XY has no abandonment Issue, she will be able to see who's , I often imagine how XL's fought when it comes to XY. haha! I hope in the next life they will choose each other
