This group is just so wonderful. This is a beautiful example of why music plays such a large role in the happiness of so many people around the world. And with Tiffany Coburn we see someone who emotes the highest levels of talent with such a deep compassion for song. She is super and I love watching her perform.

3:09 - That "to reeeeaaach" was SO CLEAN and EFFORTLESS. TEARS.
3:19 - THAT CHORD.... The basses sound incredible here... I have no idea what the chord name is but my god that tugged on my heart strings!!! it reminded me of the bit in Circle of Life - (once it changed key) "till we find our plaaaace....*melty chord* ...on the path on wiiinding....*melty chord*... That's a terrible explanation but if you know Circle of Life you KNOW what I mean!!!

Well I'd like the movie version since they've covered a lot of Disney songs. But I'll take the Elton John version too. I've commented this on so many of their RUclips and Facebook videos hoping they'll notice this.
movie version is so much better imo. the lyrics of elton's version are great but i love the singers of the film version

I like the movie version better cause it has that whole jungle theme to complement it. Moreover, it has a choir which is quite apt for them. Also a lead male and female singer which they've done before. I believe that version will suit them better.

Marjorie Snyder I think the notes both of them sing at the end are generally considered as'high'( as they are sopranos) but since Tiffany is the soloist her ending(high) note is made to standout a bit more than Kate's even tho it may not be higher.

I hear Kate sing a high Eb at the end in the background which would mean she sang a higher note, but Tiffany is the voice behind her incredible Bb climax. What about that upsets you? Tiffany range goes much higher than that, so what is the problem?

Okebaram E j I agree with you most people tend to underestimate how high Tiffany can go. A while ago on her website bio I remember seeing that she sings both Soprano1 and Soprano 2
Good point Mayowa. I remember someone who knows her and some of the other singers once explained that Tiffany can sing all of Kate's notes too even the high G when and if needed, said she actually sings Soprano 1 when needed. Hadn't looked at her website but this is my second time hearing that.
There's a studio recording of Jamey's apace arrangement of The Star Spangled Banner floating around on youtube. Tiffany is singing Soprano 1 and the last note is a G6 and it's AMAZING!! She can certainly do it. She is such a great musician - that she can also handle the intricate harmonies of Soprano 2.
I love Tiffany. I love that I can hear her facial expressions. I love that I’ve never been able to watch her sing, all the way back to the Truth days, without smiling. She’s good people.

It is my opinion that whilst the entire group did a great job, the lead vocal singer (in the white blouse) did a terrific job in her singing!!! I've listened many times, and I continue to enjoy the beauteous melody of her voice!

Colin Laing Don't get the altos mixed up with the tenors. The harmonies are really tight and can be easily misplaced. And yes the tenors did amazing 😉 but it's I Voctave and was expected though still surprisingly amazing everytime 😍👌🏾
Marcus Jones I know the difference between altos and tenors (notwithstanding that you can see them singing) so I appreciate what you’re saying but on this one it’s definitely tenors.

You get to the ending and you're thinking...is she gonna do it? Can she do it? Because so many singers get to a point in a song like this and then don't hit the high note and it's so anticlimactic. Then you realize...this is Tiffany...of COURSE she's going to do it and absolutely kill it!!!

What an amazing performance! It's incredible that each of the women have such different voices, but they find a way to blend multiple voices into homogenous harmonies! I was wondering if she was going to go up of down on that last note. So glad she hit that high note. She showed incredible breath control.
I've said it before and will say it again. This group is simply superb. From top soprano down to the sonority of the bass, all voices are so rich, clean and precise. The arrangements are also great and the whole thing is 'second to none'!! Thank you! MORE, MORE, MORE, PLEASE!!!!!

Undoubtedly the most inspirational performance of Impossible Dream I have found. The entire ensemble is awesome. Tiffany sang like a trumpet virtuoso. Brassy. Lyrical. Amazing.

Tiffany nails this piece like it was written for her. It is truly the perfect song for her. She gives every word and every note, just the treatment it deserves. I love the way she sings the word "love". The basses really bring it, too. Just amazing. Jamie's arrangements are so intuitive for all the different voices. We are listening in Vero Beach!

This is one of my most favorite songs from one of my most favorite shows. I have heard it sung many times by different tenors, but, never sung by a woman before. I have to say that the first time I heard your version all I could do was to thank God that I can hear. It was so beautiful that it hurt my heart. You people are all impossibly talented. Please sing more broadway. This song was a gorgeous chunk of beauty in a flawed and scary world. THANK YOU.

Oh My Ghod. This just blew me away _completely_! I've heard so many covers of this that fell far short of either Richard Kiley's on B'way or the film version with Simon Gilbert singing for Peter O'Toole. This is the _FIRST_ that I've heard that blows both of those out of the water.
If you're thinking about doing more Broadway, and I think you could/should, then I bet that you could do Cats in it's entirety!

I love this group in the way they show support for each other leading to a collaborative success. Tiffany has a smile that lights up the room. They are having fun together, yes each individually, but also collectively in a way that only a group excelling together can have that much fun.

I was soooo waiting for the high Eb at the end! I can understand reasons for not writing it in ... it's just I still love hearing either Tiffany or Kate singing in the Aurora Borealis ;)

Nathan Jacobson listen again and focus on where EJ Cardona goes at the end... think chucking it at the Sops might have been a bit too predictable for Mr. Ray so he slung it to the tenors instead... Could be wrong but let me know what you think
Interesting. I don't even know the song so I had no expectation. But it may be Ashley singing the Eb5 at the end, meaning EJ drops back down on the last note to some other note the other tenors are harmonizing. Even if it isn't, Nathan is definitely talking about Eb6 over high C, and actually, I do hear Kate singing Eb6 in the background if you listen again to the end, but it is not center stage because it would have overpowered Tiffany which would not have been the best choice
Okebaram E I know that's what he was referring to, but I've noticed from Jamey Ray's arrangements he doesn't always go for what's "expected" hence why there may be things heard in the background you wouldn't expect. Either way, let's all agree on one thing - this group of singers is tremendous! And you never know - at some point one of Voctave might clarify for us as they have been known to reply here and there!

Again, my comment was nothing against the arrangement, I was just sharing my feeling of anticipation being unresolved. Of course now that I can hear the Eb6 tastefully balanced, I'm quite satisfied. :)
