- Join us as we head to Southampton to collect Lyndsay's new Tesla Model Y at a special Tesla Delivery Day event. They are attempting to beat the record for the most Tesla deliveries in one day, which is 804 held by Tesla Shanghai
One of the fun things to learn is your own charging strategy. SoC at the start of charging and when to stop charging are both flexible points - and once you can do the math, you'll know how much fun pedal can be applied in-between segments.

Great video mate i collect my y next week white with 20 s wheels pp protect richard used him before does a great job i had some tints done on my model 3
Nice, Lyndsay would have preferred the larger black wheels so it looks like I’ve got to do an upgrade for her already. Hope your delivery goes well, we love the Y, so much so that I’ll probably going to chop my X in for a performance one
@@SteveRadford please do let us know what wheels you upgrade to! I’m torn between the two. The black looks nice but it’s a steep upgrade!
@@andyteale4775 I'm also considering just changing the wheel trims as the ones that come with it just pop off and there are some after market ones that are cheap enough and will just clip on, which Lyndsay will be fine with. There are also some carbon fibre looking ones that are quite nice too

Car stick with petrol but motorhome just changing from Bailey to Swift diesel sorry did not see you at the show last week maybe next time somewhere cheers guys and George
We’ve had electric cars for 7 years, and Teslas for 6 years. We wouldn’t drive anything else. Petrol and diesel cars are a thing of the past, it’s time to move on.
@@SteveRadford I'm glad you feel that way about Tesla. I am having a Model 3 delivered on March 10th. I am excited but a little nervous as it will be my first EV, and I guess a whole new learning curve.

An in depth review. I guess that’s a video we’ll have to make after driving it for a few months, but I can tell you already that we love the Y. It’s our favourite Tesla yet
Great video. Were you in an MX at the beginning of the video? What are your thoughts on MX ride quality compared to the MY? Having difficulty deciding between a new MX on 19’s vs used MX.
Yes and the ride quality in the X is better. That said, I have ordered a new Model Y performance to replace my Model X

i did not see you here in southampton i dont want a all electric car im happy with my range rover and my 44 ton truck plus pompy os only 40 mins away forv ferries

Sure Dave, it was 1/3 full. I’m pretty sure you don’t get any fuel in the tank when buying a petrol or diesel car. It was plenty to get us from Southampton to Heathrow to charge.
for that price i would like a full charge not in the 30s
