There are many interesting places in Poland that are little known to foreign tourists. An interesting and somewhat scary place is the "Skull Chapel" necropolis in Kudowa Zdrój (there are only few similar places in the world). This chapel was created to pay tribute to the anonymous dead. The walls, ceiling and altar are lined with the skulls of people who died in the Silesian wars and also died as a result of an epidemic.
Kudowa Zdrój is a spa town famous for its healing mineral waters. In addition, near Kudowa Zdrój in the Stołowe Mountains there is a beautiful trekking route in the form of a rock labyrinth called "Błędne Skały". Three attractions in one place: 1 Mineral water, 2. Skull Chapel, 3. Błędne Skały.
The most beautiful mountain town is not Zakopane but Szczawnica in the Pieniny Mountains. River Dunajec rafting is the main attraction
and trekking to the top of the trzy Korony. There is Lake Czorsztyńskie nearby, on one shore of the lake there are ruins of the Czorsztyński Castle and on the other side of the lake there is a well-preserved Nidzica Castle.
Interesting places to visit are Toruń, the city of Copernicus and famous for gingerbread. Zamość, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, a city with a unique architectural and urban complex, was called the "Pearl of the Renaissance", "The City of Arcades" and "Padua of the North". The urban layout of the entire Zamość is in line with the Renaissance idea of an ideal city, combining functionality with safety, residents' comfort and aesthetics.Besides, it's worth a visit Lublin, Sandomierz, Moszna Palace, Książ Castle, Łańcut Palace, Castles on the trail of eagles' nests Białowieża Forest and Bisons, Błędowska Desert, Masuria, Bieszczady Mountains and many other places.

We will be visiting Wrocław 9th of August, it would be great if you could visit too. Wrocław is my home town and a truly beautiful place.

Człowieczeństwo to odwaga by bronić niewinnych. Każdy kto z pogarda mowi o niewinnym, jest dla mnie nie człowiekiem tylko bydlęciem.
Mi się słowo murzyn nie podoba i go nie używam.
Kiedyś w Polsce "matka" była zdrobnieniem od "maciora". Jakoś jednak już nikt do swojej mamy per maciora się nie zwraca.

Św. Florian = Saint Florian. Polish patron of jobs that involves fire like firefighters, metallurgy, charcoal burners, pottery, even chimney sweep type of jobs.

Seriously a very beautiful village, there are various economic activities. They have a good society to emulate wherever the country is. Their village is like a garden and very organized.

Andre, you are not correct. For us, Poles at least, Zalipie is not most beautiful Polish village, obviously there is plenty butiful villages in Poland. The one Zalipie is known of painting flowers on houses, and that's it.

Andre, you should visit more in Poland. Check the Lower Silesia, places like - Szklarska Poręba, Książ Castle, Czocha Castle, Bolesławiec, Wrocław. It's not so far away from Kraków.

Bro, if you want to visit other interesting places in Poland i can recommend you Kaszuby. It’s a place in Poland based nearly on Gdańsk, with own history, own traditional food, own ABC, which means they have their own „language“. They have a lot of history about WW2 and deportation to Siberia from Russians. You can spend a whole day there and it’s quite interesting. They’ve got her independence just at the beginning of the 2000‘‚ century which means that they were not accepted by the polish government before that time.
Wtf kind of indenpendence? They are still par of Poland. Their "launguage" is in original shape more diferent from standart polish, then are different Euro languages from themsel.
