Hi there! My name is Vanessa, but you can call me Nessie! I grew up in Australia but studied abroad in Korea and China for a year, and am now back home documenting life in Sydney~ I mostly post lifestyle vlogs, but occasionally mix it up with some K-beauty, fashion, or travel diaries! Hey Nessie!! I've been binge watching your Korean vlogs and have one questions even tho this is a Beijing vlog😅: how do you get around Korea without being fully fluent in Korean? As in when you have to go places like hair salon for a specific hair style that you cant describe in Korean or getting you phone/data/sim card fixed or if a taxi driver starts talking to you thinking youre Korean, or any other problems that you may not know how to ask in korean and you don't learn in language classes, how do you get by smoothly? Do you ask for help in English? Do workers generally have basic English knowledge? What do you do when they simple just don't understanf you whatsoever? Love youuuuuu XX
