      @intunewithcars9484 this an important game and is THE game to win (if we are capable), plus a loss would be a nail in the coffin of a decent manager.

    Thanks James and Dave another great show. The most worrying thing for me was said near the end....we really have blown our budget possibly for the next three years after that wasteful summer signing campaign. I was so banking on us falling over the line in January and then sorting things. Anyway for the moment with Stoke we need players who are playing badly to suddenly start playing well. It can happen. It could be a Dunne header or Saito taking a pot at the goal rather than passing it. Hoping for a much needed home win for oursakes and Marti's.

    • @bryanfisher4521
      @bryanfisher4521 12 дней назад +2

      @seanhowlett6293 I think you have summed it all up: little funds to add to the squad and off-form players needing to come good against the Potters! (I have Dunne heading in a converted corner...)

      @@seanhowlett6293 thanks mate. Yes we need everybody to up the quality. They are all trying, we just lack that bit of extra something. A Dunne header could be a good prediction, but any goal will do right now!!

    Hi, great preview style and content. I'm a Stoke supporter and completely agree with your assesment of Stoke. Inconsistancy is our only consistant point. Our two clubs are not that disimiliar. John Walters coming in as Sports Director is perhaps the most sensible appointment since relegation, finally some identity. I think one goal will separate the two sides but I couldn't say which way? Here's to a great day out either way.

    • @hoopsanddreamsQPR
      @hoopsanddreamsQPR  12 дней назад +2

      We really appreciate that, thank you. It does feel to me that Stoke are starting to slightly move in the right direction after treading water for so long.
      Yes a low scoring affair separated by the odd goal would be the sensible bet for this match. If you are coming down on Saturday stay dry and good luck for the rest of the season!

    good discussion as always lads. I feel so sorry for poor marti, fancy moving to a another country, taking on a job with huge promises then having to start a season with only two strikers, one LB and a bunch of player he literally knew nothing about (I beleive he had at least heard of Masden and didnt rate him!). Time to swallow pride Hoos & Co... Mark Warburton had the second highest win percentage of any 100 matches+ manager since Jim Smith 40 years ago. Top was Holloway. If the invisible powers are to change direction which I personally do not advocate, at least look a potentially lifesaving gift horse in the mouth. Great show again gents.

      Thanks... I'd like Warburton back but maybe as Director of Football. He's an astute and knowledgeable guy, so could bring a lot to the table. Honestly can't see a scenario where he is back as manager, but said at the time when he was sacked the club needed to be careful what it wished for.

    Great show and surprisingly funny which is good but a sad reflection of where we are .Dave said it best he cannot see us keeping a clean sheet and scoring more than 1 goal so its pretty depressing to honest .If you cannot score at one end and cannot keep them out at our end the winter looks even more gloomy for all QPR fans .I feel this could be a good chance to grab a win ,he had 2 weeks and surely designed some plays to unlock Stoke and maybe work something from corners or frees (not that Chair wont be hitting the first man ) hopefully get ahead and hold on .Also it will be a game of 2 halves depending on the wind direction which will unleash chaos and we thrive on chaos so look for a welcome home win

      Our only decent corners this season have come from Dembele, that's where we miss him. With Chair out too it will probably be Andersen or Madsen taking them, whoever plays. If we can just get 3 points on Saturday it will be such a different feeling around Loftus Road, it will lift everybody.

    The more I see and the more I hear you talk it really starts to feel like many fans aren't fearing relegation this season. In that I mean not actually being scared and thinking ots worst thing ever. We're all so fed up with us in championship, dropping down and being more competitive would be more enjoyable.
    I predicted back in summer this season looked bleak so why no one in club could see it is beyond me

    • @hoopsanddreamsQPR
      @hoopsanddreamsQPR  12 дней назад

      I'd agree with that actually about not fearing relegation - it's been a decade at this level and this is the 3rd season in a row scrapping for our lives. Saturday nights are just miserable. I know there are no guarantees that we go down and come back, but it feels like for the club to really reset and restart we may be better off going down and enjoying our Saturdays. Maybe.
