Kid is definitely good and I would absolutely love to have him at SC, but there's two things I've noticed that are kind of concerning. One is I noticed that when he feels the pressure he tends to want to take off right away and not check down, he won't really have that much opportunity to do a lot of that in college. He also doesn't protect the ball very well when he does take off, he won't get away with that in college very much. You don't protect the ball you're going to end up being a turn over machine!!!

Good QB's are able to feel that pressure and check down before throwing the ball too soon or taking off and running. Defenses nowadays are much better with containing running QB's because there's so many now. So running QB's either don't do well in college or they get hurt from being hit so much.

I noticed that too. He's a stud but I don't really like how he immediately takes off when he feels pressure vs scrambling to buy time for a pass.
