    Thank you for this video! I would love a part 3 going into post setup and in depth/advanced calibration. Just watched both parts like 4 times over. Im new to Klipper and setting up my first ever klipper printer, and it is a custom built printer on top of that. Coming from marlin, i already love so many qualty of life changes when comparing to marlin, just from the compiling and editing the config files alone, its already so much nicer. Cant wait to mess with macros etc. Please do a part 3! i would watch it repeatedly.

    This is 'THE BEST' video on installing Klipper with Fullsail it's associated software that I have been able to find. I have been struggling for days trying to get this all done. Now my SKR Mini E3V3 is talking to my Raspberry Pi 3b! Amazing! Thank you !!! What I would like and I would bet a lot of others would like is -- Now how do we get it to work with our printers? I know a lot of people have the SKR Mini E3 V3 installed on I'm sure a lot of printers, mine is on an Ender 5. My SKR was running Marlin before and I'm trying to figure out how to get Fullsail configured for my printer and how to work the interface. I will be doing a lot of reading will I wait for you next edition. Many many thanks for your straightforward clear explanations and helpful hints.

    Nice tutorial. I'm rebulidiing my printer and had to refresh myself on how I installed Klipper. I would definately watch a part 3 if you made one.

    Thank you for this great tutorial. I really appreciate the workaround @19min40sec with the two min_temp: -273.15 which avoids having to connect thermistors for the hot head and the bed.

    Please do the part 3! It would be really helpful if you did it for the new Min printer (I know you have a zipped config on the discord but it would still be helpful to see). Thanks for everything you do!!

    Which version of the raspberry Pi is this? Is it the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W? If so, is it enough to run klipper, mainsail and a camera module through this? Or would I need a more powerful SBC to run the camera as well?

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  5 месяцев назад

      pi zero 2 w, I do not know if I would run a camera off it but it might be ok. I have never tried

    I have a raspberry pi 3 b and I am trying to build my own printer. Do I need to get a separate mainboard or can I just use the raspberry pi to run the motors, heaters, etc?

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  5 месяцев назад +1

      you need to get a mainboard

    What type of mainboard should I use? I have a Artillery genius (1st gen) and I want to change the main board (i read the btt pico u used in the vid is for voron)
    Thanks in advance

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  5 месяцев назад

      Most any mainboard will work, the stock artillery board may even be able to support Klipper, I would check on youtube what other have used or if they just flash the stock board. The pico is not just for Voron it will work for many printers

    I think this would be much better if you made a video for the more normal case where the user has a typical printer with as SD card.

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  4 месяца назад

      The process is really the same your downloading a firmware file and putting it on a SD card instead of the mainboard directly

    • @johngammel
      @johngammel 4 месяца назад

      I know that the process is basically the same between a typical printer and the board with no SD card but I'd recommend 2 videos to make it more straight forward for Klipper newbies. I've flashed firmware for +40 years now and spent my life in IT so the "computer" part of it is just details - I've even program the Pi to monitor sensors for my A/C unit.

    I have an Anycubic I3 Mega with a Trigorilla1.1 mainboard. I can't find a GitHub for it to get the settings necessary to build new firmware. Is there anybody who could point me in the right direction?

      looks like you can just use the generic ramps config github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/issues/2822
