Born and raised in Kentucky, life long fan! We all know that feeling we have when the in coming team is beast! Besides the championship team of 2011/2012, I've got that same, if not more hyped feeling for this 2016/2017 class coming. Even more then the 2014/2015 team and that arguably could've been top 3 Kentucky team ever. Its just something about this team I can feel it in my bones that the National Championship is coming back to Lexington. I can't wait to get this season started and really find out if this team is going to be as great as they can be!!!

Hello high school freshman self, it is now 2022, and I'm a junior in college. We still have yet to return to the Final Four. We got upset by a 15 seed in last years tournament, and completely missed the tournament in the 2020-21 season. This season was supposed to be revenge, but we just got beat by 16 by Gonzaga and our team looked like they didn't want to be out there. I'll check back in April and see if all hope is still lost!

The NCAA needs to change the NBA eligibility rule. I'm sick of guys leaving after their freshman year. How can we build a championship team when we have pretty much all new players each year? I would have felt a lot better about our chances of winning title #9 next season if Ulis had decided to stay.
Yeah, that's fair... let's expose these guys to more risk of injury and a lack of earning money in their billion dollar industry so that you can have "your" team win a championship...

Aaron Ellis Colleges have recruited 8th graders before. There was a football player named Jesus Machado who had offers from Michigan State, Alabama, West Virginia, and other schools when he was in 8th grade. There was a 7-foot-1 8th grader named Connor Vanover that the NBA would have grabbed up if they were allowed to. That was a couple of years ago. He's now 7-foot-3 and in 10th grade. You can bet NBA teams are anxious for him to complete his first year of college.
Right, and if he could contribute to make a company money should he be compensated? It's not evil, soccer associations all over the world have farm programs where they recruit kids, they're trained and kept healthy by team doctors and paid when they reach competitions... I think Coach Cal would be the first of CBBs coaches to crack open the bank account to pay these kids for the amazing entertainment they provide us.

Since the age limit for the NBA was changed in 2005, only two teams who best players were predominantly freshmen have won a title. 1-and-done doesn't really get it done. You need talented AND experienced players, like UF, KU, UNC, 2010 Duke, UCONN and Villanova have had.

Funny that the people on the teams that beat Kentucky are trash now. Look where Napier, Kaminsky, and Decker are compared to Stein, Towns, Booker, Lyles, Randle, Ulis. Amazing what this program does to players!
