I appreciate that Pastor John addressed these concerns head on. It’s important to be as transparent as possible and clearly discuss concerns and lay out why he believes that Bill Johnson and Randy Clark are important to bring to our church to demonstrate not only some of their teachings but to demonstrate how they minister. There is a clear move of God that is occurring at James River Church. It is unique to our house and to our region just as the Asbury Revival is unique to their house and to their region. Both Bill and Randy are important to the movement that is occurring here and God though Pastor John wishes to bring some important tools and methodologies that he wishes to seen demonstrated to our people. It may be eye opening, it may be shocking, it may even shake some of our theological foundations. But doesn’t every great awakening begin with the shaking of foundations that people have turned into unyielding rock? Maybe those foundations have become a barrier to the living water that God wants to use to refresh His people. I am in my mid sixties and no longer a young man. My wine skin has grown hard and unyielding over the years. I am ready for a fresh wind of the spirit to blow through my life. I am ready to throw out the brittle and unyielding wine skins that I have grown accustomed to and to get some fresh wine along with new wine skins that are able to stretch to the bursting point. If Bill and Randy represent that new wine that the Holy Spirit yearns to bring to our house. Then I say, Let the wind of the spirit blow…

I'm not a preacher, but I love listening to messages from brothers and sisters in Christ, that I trust. I sold my tv a couple of years ago, because I want to feed my mind better things for God's glory. I listen to many sermons during the week.
My theology and doctrine is the Nicene Creed/Affirmation of Faith. And the inerrancy of the scriptures. I see the doctrines of different denominations as the biggest cause of disunity in the body of Christ. This is disobedience to Christ’ command that his followers must love each other and this is how the world knows that we are different. Our disunity makes us weak and ineffectual and holds us up to be ridiculed by unbelievers.
I am almost positive that I watched a live broadcast last night (February 27). I missed the beginning so I went to watch it today and I cannot find it. Was I dreaming?
