This song/video (and the entire Nightmare album) is essentially a tribute to their drummer, who passed away in 2009. He’s the entire reason I even play drums 🙌🏼
Yes, fortunately, he has already created drums for this album. Before he died. Although the studio record of the album was taken over by one of his role models Mike Portnoy. He tried in detail to keep the Demo recording that The Rev created for the album before his death.

The "church bell" is probably a pipe chime; I'm not a percussionist, so I'm not 100% on that. A fun fact though, the bells you hear in the intro were from a toy glockenspiel that M Shadows was playing around with at home. They attempted to reproduce it with professional instruments, but they didn't like the sound of it as much, so they used the toy.
