Walter Semkiw passed away on June 9th 2022. He retold my story of reincarnation many times in his books and lectures. He is greatly missed by those who knew him. Rest well my friend and after a while who knows, maybe you will make a comeback. JK
Look.... reincarnation is the most obvious thing in the world. It's so obvious that most people dismiss it. But where were you before you were born? If you came here once, you will come again and again. The only part I think is flawed is trying to look for personality or resemblance matches, because these are bound to occur, even in living people. In your life you will find about 10 people that resemble each other in personality and appearance. it's spooky, and they are all living. So looking for them in the past you will always find them. It's not a proof. I think we reincarnate but our memories are lost so we start fresh. Might be that some people come through, but who knows. in any case, this man's work is great and I support it.
I love William James and I think Jeffrey fits him perfectly. Neither seek attention, they don't blow their own horn and they are skeptical. I read Ghost Hunters and James was skeptical to the end.
PS: Dr Semkiw describes his former life as a famous leader in the American Revolution alongside others who became leading politicians in contemporary America. ( Includes Ralph Nader & Carl Sagan! ) . Do watch!
I think ALL of these picture comparisons were VERY compelling. Particularly the Nader & Musk ones. Interestingly enough, Musk is recently quoted as saying he is actually a bigger fan Edison than he is of Tesla.
That’s what the Buddha was talking about. To attain moksha or nirvana is to break the cycle of birth and death by following the Middle Path that Buddha talked about. Karma plays a huge role
Walter Semkiw is not the first person to propose the idea of "group reincarnation." I recall reading a book titled "Life After Death" in 1976 where Arthur Koestler envisioned a process of reincarnation groups which he called "holons."
I don’t agree about career choices being chosen over and over again. We come for experience, why would we choose the same profession. Also I have a hard time with similar looks. Soul groups work together some helping another group member while hoping to complete a lesson for themselves. We don’t come back as spouses constantly your son could be your wife or you brother in another incarnation and let’s not forget that time is not linear, it’s all happening at the same time. Also there are multiple universes so there could be 80 Cleopatras. So much to think about it boggles the mind. Very much enjoying this series. Thanks.
Why would we choose the same profession? To get better and better at it from life to life, to reach perfection. Why choose a different thing from life to life? Pointless. And there are not "multiple universes", the word universe means: everything that exists.
Tiggzg People are passionate about certain topics and will gravitate towards them especially as their skills dictate. With increasing technology a Doctor from 1860 would be amazed at the technology we have today. For them it would be like exploring a similar path that has a completely different destination.
This doesn’t make me feel happy. So if geniuses continue to come back as geniuses, will the ordinary people with ordinary skills come back as ordinary people because that kinda makes me feel I’m not interested in learning anymore.
I am so glad this resurfaced. I found' via Bernardo Kastrup series. I live in Myanmar funny enough. I had done enough listening hours to experts in consciousness studies to know this is not bunk now. The old science is broken. The Hindus and Buddhists were close to truth all along.
I agree with the Nader-Thomson resemblance. I even found a profile of both of them, and they do resemble each other. However, Nader's roots were in Lebanon. As for the resemblance of Rittenhouse to Carl Sagan---I see absolutely no physical resemblance there. Sagan had an angular-roundish face, whereas Rittenhouse has an oval, non-angular face. Sagan's eyes are also more deep set.
Some of the strongest evidence ever brought forth on the reality of reincarnation (not involving hypnosis). Birthmarks, scars, and photographic evidence. A Civil War general’s reincarnation, plus a great story of a young boy, 9/11 and the reincarnation of a New York City firefighter who perished in one of the Twin Towers. The full story as told by the boy's mother on (and to me off) Carol Bowman’s popular Reincarnation Forum starting in 2007 up to the present day. The books full title, Fire in the Soul: Reincarnation from Antietam to Ground Zero. (Check out the author's site for two very well-done videos.) Best, JK
in reincarnation similar themes do carry over but it's not good karma to live 27 life times as a king that never happens that's why you should never let anyone tell you what you have been in a past life but to have & see for yourself in a regression without being lead by a practitioner.
I believe in his past life matches, cause i identified some historical persons with my special method (like Hitler) as he did... It was 6 month before i ordered his book, where the case is listed.
Not sure I like the thought of reicarnating into the same sort of person - what about us nobodys who don't get to be anybody does that mean we never will???
I love New Thinking Allowed. But I have to say that the resemblances between these interesting folk's aren't so convincing-although they were absolutely interesting people.
The thing about mediumship and psychic ability is the scrutiny that comes with being reconized . I have found this from even the closest people in your life.
Ralph Nader is of Lebanese origin. Maybe, then, his 'past life' roots, if any, had always been in Lebanon and not in the US. The Druze ( a religion found in Lebanon and also in India) curiously also believe in reincarnation. Ralph Nader, however, is Christian.
Jeffrey, thank you so much for all your videos. Re William James, perhaps you're familiar with the book by Jane Roberts, "The Afterdeath Journal of an American Philosopher, the World View of William James," a manuscript she "received" from James on the other side.
. 22:22 Jeffrey, you should not be so hard on yourself. These interviews that you have spent so much time and effort on are the same as what Sagan was doing in the 80s. You are not a pale comparison to James, but someone he would truly admire, .... to say the least. I love sifting through these interviews, and ... anyway, if you were to look at my website, you would see what truly interests me ... creating a RealCiv, giving life and breathe to Sagan and Heinlein and so many others visions of the future; rather than the current Rothschild/Rockefellar/etc project of BraveNeWorld swirled with 1984. This work of yours will hopefully "turn" many of those who have chosen lies and deceit, rather than light and truth. I love you as much as any Dolphin/Cetacean I have even swum with. May the ________ be with you! . Have you read Gina Cerimina's Insights to the Age of Aquarius?
Hmmm. If it's possible to access information from the past without a physical carrier, what need for a belief in one-to-one reincarnation of individuals?
Essentially, we have the same people ruling now, as our nation had in it's beginning. Also, I didn't hear this touched upon, but it is obvious that if the soul group theory is true then this also means those soul groups may likely have their own intentions for what they want to accomplish and create, as they act as a group on Earth. Similar to how human groups have their own values, desires and intentions that differ from other groups of humans, this seems likely with soul groups as well. If I recall correctly, a previous interview said the knowledge that humans can reincarnate to other races, religions and nations would create more peace. But as we can see, there are actually soul groups apparently incarnating together. If this is the case, it is likely they are behaving in the interests and goals of that group. Those goals and interests may conflict with other soul groups. I don't see any reason why that wouldn't be the case. The whole idea of a soul group ruling in one generation, and then reincarnating and having power as a group in another generation, shows that soul groups may actually be acting on their group's desires and goals on Earth. Other soul groups, may have different values and goals that conflict. This means, the knowledge of reincarnation would not bring peace, because many, if not all, are also acting from the goals of their soul group. Group conflict then, may be based in the spiritual and acted in the physical.
Yeah, well reasoned. On a side note it would also imply that most people who lead useless lives right now, have been leading useless lives for all eternity. Forget all about equal opportunity or making something of yourselves, little people! You now also have the karmic glass ceiling to contend with. If you're a loser now, you've likely always been a loser and you always will be. Damn, that's bad news for me, since in this life I've been stuck by fate more or less the whole time, and frankly only await death so I can realize my dreams by hopefully never having to return here again! Really bad news!
+orderoverchaos, No-one knows. We may get clues and pointers but it's not an exact science. There is some evidence for soul-groups, but there may be other variables, influences, or mitigating factors that affect outcome. In fact that's highly likely. So any arrived at conclusions are incomplete, and therefore invalid.
Paddy Theosophist Bed a lot of dames, get rich and powerful, have something accomplished in life and the opportunity to have dared experiencing a lot (mainly by being born with handsome looks) makes you a winner. If you become a drug addict, criminal or if you're an unbearable person, narcissist or psychopath is inconsequential to winner status. The demiurge apparently loves those fuckers. Being incel, not having done, experienced or accomplished anything in life on the other hand, makes you a loser, no matter if you happen to be a nice person or not. Of course, in a way, only men can become true losers or winners. Women win simply by being born females, since expectations aren't put on them and they are actually never judged by anyone or anything. In the above, however, winner or loser status was mainly related to social status and upbringing.
Slick Superlube LoL! The only judge of that is the individual him/herself. It's relative, so everyone elses opinion is irrelevant. And "success" being measured in fame and fortune is very typical of mindset in the modern world. But all that material wealth you cannot take with you, so a measure of "success" is what you leave behind,.....is the world a better place having you been in it? And how did you help others who were less fortunate? That's more likely to leave your mark and be remembered.
Is anyone aware of voice recognition being used to verify past life? Example: You hear your voice from a man that died several years prior to your birth? Its a recording, but clearly you speaking before you were even born?
I was once a total jerk. But now I'm not. Lol. One of the first serious questions I asked my mom was how new words became known by everyone because I had come up with a new one. I thought maybe the person had to go house to house or call everyone. That was 1976 when I was 6 btw and I'm now curious what the word was but I digress
The reason why people look similar is because of genetics , many times children look like their great grand father or great great grand father , even someone may look like a roman soldier because of genetics.
I don't think Rittenhouse and Nador look anything alike. I know there maybe some psychics who are real but Semkiw seems to have gotten duped. I would be surprised if a soul guide would channel into one and tell Semkiw who was reincarnated into who.
