wow, very nice generative patch, I'm subbed and going to check out all your other videos. hard to believe its just valhalla supermassive as an effect, sounds so good! I just got a moog sound studio, feel like it was a really good purchase after watching this.
Many thanks for your video! I have being to carefull to get started with modular. Your video helpt me to more understand how modular works! Thanks for that my friend🙏

@manateesarepeopopletoo : "This video finally helped me understand how to use my M32". Exactly the same for me. ^^ Thanks for this great video Kadi. :-)
@@paulpeterson394 Hi, I was using a reverb effect in my DAW. Because the mother-32 doesn't have an internal reverb. If I remember I was using the Valhalla Super Massive or the Valhalla Shimmer. The first one you can find it for free on the valhalladsp website. 🙂Cheers!
I can't only thank you for this video, you just helped me so much understanding the M32, could I ask you what presets you use on the supermassive? many thanks
👋 Thanks for your kind and motivating words! 🙌 The short answer and one of the presets I like to use with Supermassive is called "We are stardust". If you would like to know more you can watch my video about "Making an ambient track & using Reverb here ruclips.net/video/x1Y1sNyMUsw/видео.html Hope this helps! 🙂
@KadiMusic super tutorial, thank you very much! You have the patch and your ideas also didactically really well built and brought across. One question: Which mode/preset combination have you set in Valhalla supermassive?
Hi Alex! Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm preparing the next video to cover the reverb aspect. So I'm glad you ask. 🙂 I used the 'We Are Stardust preset during the demo. You can find it in the Presets: Reverbs > Z-Massive > "We Are Stardust" I'll explain it in more detail in the next video. In the meantime you can already try it out. Let me know what you think about it.👋Thanks again for your support! 🙌
Hi Marcus! 👋That's a very good question. I've been testing this with the Key Step Pro... I don't have the answer. But, as I understand it, the Assignable Output will only work while the sequencer of the Mother-32 is running. I will look into. 😉
Hi Marcus! I may have found a workaround for this. I just tested this using with the KeyStep Pro. This is what I did I entered the first note of the KB on 8 steps (same note on 8 steps) Than I created a sequence on the Keystep Pro. When I start the sequence on the Keystep, the Mother-32 starts to play (sync) and I was able to use the Assignable output. I hope this helps. I'll make a video to document it.
@@MarcusKnappMusic You're welcome! I've made a video to support what I was explaining earlier. You can find it here > ruclips.net/video/rPsGZLeI7QE/видео.html I hope this can work for you. In the meantime I'll keep researching this. 😉
Good videos. I just got one last week. I’ve been trying to follow how to randomize the notes. Or self generated and I follow what the video tells me but for some reason, it’s not doing it wonder what I’m doing wrong?
Mmmh strange 🤔doing it like this should do the trick. ruclips.net/video/yICPYlSLCws/видео.html&si=2CM-gqqD_FW5vJo0 Can you check the led when in that mode. It should be on the last one, number 8. If not it won't work. Sometimes I have to get back in there as well in order to put it on the random setting. Can you check that? 🙂
@@KadForward I like to drown my Subsequent in reverb and echo (Boss RE-20) and treat the fx pedal as an instrument. The Moog on sample&hold is very entertaining with an lfo modulating the filter. Seen that you got a SYNTRX, that is a fantastic synth...

Probably one of the best Moog M32 demos showing the amazing production value of a simple 'subtractive mono synth'.
Hi, thanks! Your comment means a lot. It's such a versatile synth. Thanks for stopping by.

INDEED!! Thank you. So tastefully done as aesthetics. Rare these days. 🙏
This video finally helped me understand how to use my M32. Best tutorial I've seen on RUclips - keep 'em coming!
An excellent demonstration/tutorial, good balance between voice and synth audio levels, and no annoying video gimmicks. Thank you

So for ambient music do you find the on board sequencer on the Mother 32 adequate?
Great tutorial, thanks! Is the reverb available in moog mother or you add it outside the moog?
Thanks. There is no reverb effect in the Mother-32. I'm using a free plugin called Valhalla Supermassive. I recently made a video on that subject. 😉
