If Rivers actually watch gsw games its actually the opposite, cuz at least 60 percent of the time Steph gets fouled shooting 3s but he doesn't get that much foul call tbh
Speak them facts then... To truly understand Austin's hate, you have to remember that he once backed up Chris Paul in LA. And his lob City team and franchise was destroyed by Steph Curry. Then you have to remember he played in Houston when Steph destroyed that roster. As a matter of fact, was he on that Denver Nuggets roster the warriors blew up too??? Like, imagine being a sixth man on really good teams that keep getting blown up by one franchise...
I love the point about how Steph changed the game and that's one of the sources of resentment. I think about guys like Kenneth Faried that had so much potential at first but couldn't find a good fit in the changing NBA landscape. I think the league should bring back more contact so people can understand that the 3pt spacing already counters a lot of the physical play since you can't hand check someone that is shooting a 3 anyway. With the level of athleticism in the game now and the sophistication of dribbling techniques, I think it'd be a fair balance to bring back more physical defense. It's more fun than Ja and JP getting called for questionable dribbling.
MJ is still the GOAT for me. but 96 bulls would be just another playoff team with today's NBA. If 90s basketball is much better way to play, then everyone would play like that. Now every team plays almost like the warriors because it is well known to be more effective, and efficient.
Definitely disagree suns made it to the finals a couple years ago and shot the most mid range shots but shot it any an insane percentage so it was more effective to play like that if you got the right coach and personal
Word! Shooting the 3 @ 40%=60% 2 point shot. How many teams ever shot 60% from 2? Imagine shooting a less accurate % 2 or 3 steps away behind the 3 line? That would equal more points. GSW figured out how to win games & are being punished for it. Those hating on the warriors for bringing in high volume 3s hate that they made the game more skilled. You don't get to dominate just by winning the gene pool as a giant or having freakish strength. You must master the skill of shooting. Look at Zion. He's the closest thing to Shaq though smaller but he's not exactly tearing it up. How about Bol Bol? In the 90s, they'd have been fire. The old heads hating are doing so cos many of them wouldn't survive today's NBA. You think Rodman or Wilt could live as wildly as they did & still dominate if they p;ayed today?
You kinda forgot about the rule changes and the disgusting amount of travels refs don't call nowadays which help players get into open 3's and layups. Rules and officiating are so different that today's NBA is not comparable to the 90's.
it always gets me how they always whine about Steph getting "illegal screens" but they literally be bear hugging him the entire time they literally always grappling him every single possession like GTFOH Lol
They literally disclose the last 2 minutes of every games ref errors (if it's within 3 points at any time during the 4th quarter ) and they had 5 calls wrong, all favoring the Celtics.
he seems to forget how Steph and gsw lost the 2016 finals with loads of calls not being called for them or being missed. you could pick any of the last games in that series and see how 4-5 clear fouls were "missed", which could have changed any one of those games results. after that curry got less and less calls his way, refs seem to overcompensate when calling fouls for Steph just cause of all the narrative

Do they get away with illegal screens? Yes, do other teams get away with illegal screens? Yes. How about the Warriors being targeted for carrying/traveling calls, while players like Ja, Luka and Giannis carry the ball on a platter without it being called. KDs vaunted crossover is a huge carry, AIs crossover was illegal, etc… Teams/players are getting away with illegal stuff all the time.
Funny how no one is talking about the illegal screens in the comments, was him saying “Steph gets every call” correct? Absolutely not. He has one of the weakest whistles among superstars. But everyone in the comments is acting like he’s some sort of god that can do no wrong, and people that criticize him are “haters”… Andrew Bogut himself said that once he left Golden State he found himself getting in foul trouble much quicker because he would actually get called for illegal screens. And it’s not like these screens are ONLY being set for Steph, they’re being set for everyone on the team. Think about how big of an advantage that is
As you can see this season, warriors averages 2 calls a game for illegal screens. If you're a hater then it will be justice for your petty conscience. But, saying that they give Steph every call is just plain stupid. This guy can't guard his in-law, and I bet he can't talk about it at home so he steamed it out on an interview. Hahaha
He is butthurt about it lol. But to say that Steph gets all the calls?? That's just a lie. There's so many times he receives contact and no call at all. Plenty of other players in the league that pick up easy touch fouls compared to Steph

Man, that's just disrespectful, and your team deserves to lose, and you go deeper and deeper into your conspiracy BS, until the point of not watching again. That's my point.
I mean, they missed 5 calls in 7 minutes (2 regulations, 5 OT). That means in regulation, if that trend stayed the same, they missed roughly 34 calls. That's a missed call every 1.4 minutes in 48 minutes (48 ÷ 1.4 = 34.3). Now I know that's not true, but even 20 missed calls in 48 minutes seems insanely high.
bruh , the 17" GSW had 3 of the best shooters the game has ever seen , by the time Bulls realise that they would be 30 points behind by half time. guarding Curry is one thing but guarding him + Klay + KD ... at that point you just hope they have a bad night or it's gg .
Curry and the warriors probably get the least calls in the league. Refs blatantly ignore fouls against steph all the time. Maybe 1/3 of fouls are called on him
I was talking about this to my best friend during the Grizzlies game. Ref betting pool in shambles, all because of talent. And now Dubs are spreading the points around, showcasing that they don't only have Steph and Klay.
This is happening to the lakers as well. Every game they compete but then lose bc cause of some bs calls. Im a warriors fan, but just also wanted point out some other teams are getting crap calls
In that game against the Cavs where they pulled off to win it. I was awfully mad that there are too many calls missed for the warriors and the officials obviously are in favor of the Cavs, which ended up losing btw(Thanks to the greatness of Steph Curry). But think about this, Most players who are throwing shades to The Chef is the players that can't even do the things he does. (Except for Shaq) I have been waiting for this video by the way because at the start of the 2022-2023 season It's clear that the NBA is trying to get rid of the Warriors out of the Playoff pic.
I dont agree with the idea that star players should be treated differently by the refs, like the rules r what they r and should be applied the same way to all players. However, since we know that star players get calls in their favor significantly more often than some bench player, it must be said that steph most def does not get treated the same as other superstars.
SHEESH...I've been saying this for years! Folks be hat'n on my boys the Warriors because they dawgs! Refs hate Steph especially because he makes their lazy asses work since, he's always moving. NBA Refs are LAZY af... Then there's the Bron and Jordan fanboy commentators/analysts/and sports journalists who hate that Steph is quickly catching their boy(s) and creating crazy records of his own. And he STILL has 4 to 5 more good years left to play. But he's already cracked the 6 best players of all-time on some folks' lists. Then there's coach Steve Kerr, who is a damn active icon of the game who played with the past G.O.A.T. while now coaching the present G.O.A.T. to-be. Add to all of that the fact that the YEA AREA has one of the largest and most modern arenas with the loudest most faithful crowds, THAT FOLLOW THEM TO DIFFERENT STATES...and yeah...peeps be hat'n HARD!! Lastly, the Warriors have the best culture in the league. PERIOD!! Players come to the Warriors and seem to flourish beyond their previous potentials (Andrew Wiggins, Ty Jerome, Jordan Poole, Donte DiVincenzo, Anthony Lamb, Kevon Looney)...plus the Warriors have a handful of future superstars in Jonathan Kuminga, Patrick Baldwin Jr., Moses Moody and James Wiseman. Then if all of that wasn't enough, Steph, Klay, Dray, and Iguodala have the highest basketball IQs in the entire league and carry with them the DNA for winning Finals! The greatest are always hated. Especially when they can boast as the current Dynasty.
Steph can never get the calls on his 2 or 3 pointers, it would put him on the line which will produce a 90% chance of winning a game and bring his point per game average at a minimum of 35 points per game or even high.
There is a very popular conspiracy theory in Chinese NBA fans that the league does not want Stephen Curry to be successful because he did not sign with Nike
90s basketball had super star tiers (could not breathe on those players) and repeat offense. These teams today can shoot. 88 points to win a game is unheard of today. That only happened in the jordan era.
The warriors themselves admit to doing illegal screens, but honestly I don't know if it would change much if they started calling them, as long as the warriors adapt and stop doing them. Or at least do them less obviously. Aside from that, sure you can be mad the already great warriors signed KD, but they were winning before they had him and are winning after he's gone. Can't really get mad at anything else, all their players are either drafted or were traded for and developed into what they are now by the warriors.
Is so obvious what refs been doing all season. And is not even being bias. I remember an early game in Orlando think they had like 45 FTs. Hell just this last game vs Memphis they gave Steph 2 fouls in less than a minute in first qtr! Lol. Klay and Poole had 3 fouls first qtr too. And warriors still had the lead. The league knows they can’t stop their offense so their last resort is to slow the momentum to call every little thing they can “justify” to the naked eye. I forgot what other game Curry got called for traveling when they inbounded the ball. On a play they everyone literally makes as second nature when they bringing up the ball lol. Rant over but sheesh lol
Im not the biggest warriors fan, but they should not be hated to the point where they are getting sabotaged by the league. They win their games fairly and are not doing anything against the rules. Plus everyone hates them because NO ONE has shown that their management can develop their players better than the warriors. This is just sad dude.
Bro I love the Warriors but you reach in super hard especially with the whole refs calling the game on they're behalf thing, like ref's f****** up every game that I watch and swing in one direction or another
What Scottie and Rodman are getting at is the way the game is played as a whole. Not just the warriors it’s cool Steph can make all these crazy shots and do all this stuff but it sucks because the defense can’t do anything to stop it not for lack of trying but these rules are leaning to heavily one way
Adam Silver straight up said he wanted to reach a demographic, and make basketball more entertaining, as soon as he said that, warriors magically started winning chips, as steve kerr saw the opportunity and took warriors because they shoot a lot of 3s, midrange and post fades used to be entertaining, but 3 point shooting is also very entertaining and was different, its cool seeing deep shots go in, rather than slash, and slow post ups, he even wants more spectacular dunks and layups, so silver did all he could to make sure teams shoot more outside by enabling illegal screens, and made sure more highlight dunks and layups were broadcasted by allowing illegal screens, same with ball handling style by enabling carry's, its all in front of us
@@theonlygoodonehere2259 the crazy thing about all the money the players is getting. Is that I think it’s stopping these players from becoming the best player they can be. Steph is literally this character from this anime called Kuroko no Basket named Midorima. I swear he watched it as a young adult and was like "That will be me"
They hate on the Dubs for drafting well, developing their players, and making minimal dips into the free agent pool, yet don't hate on the Lakers for gutting their team to get rid of their drafted players to exchange for stars to create a superteam...SMH. If any team should be called out for "buying" a Larry O'Brien trophy, it is the Lakers. The Lakers would've been better off keeping Caruso, Montrezl, et al instead of trading them for Russ.
The Refs blow calls in every single game. There is no conspiracy against the Warriors. It's true Steph doesn't get the same calls that many other stars get, but that has more to do with the way he plays than anything else. He plays a lot off ball and everyone knows that a lot of stuff that happens off ball goes unnoticed, so all the holding, pulling, scratching etc that happens to players all across the league. When he shoots and when he drives his first instinct and habit is to protect himself and to try and make the shot. Contrast that to players like CP3, Luka, Lebron etc they all will happily plow into defenders and flop as much as they need to even to the point of putting their body on the line in order to sell a call with little care if they shot goes in or not. Klay is the same way only he's obviously much less active with the ball. Dray has his reputation for good and for bad. He absolutely gets away with plenty of illegal screens but then so do plenty of others players too that's just part of the modern game. But for the undoubted reputation calls and techs that he gets. He also has leeway to bark at the refs that very few other players enjoy. This season, the fouls discrepancy is because the team is taking way more outside shots than they used to with very few players who drive consistently with the ability or intention to draw fouls. Defensively they have been terrible with sub par perimeter defense and a lot of players lacking discipline in that area. A perimeter defender gets beaten and out of frustration they foul in their attempt to get back in the play. Players miss rotations or are late and when they close out on 3pt shooter they get sloppy with their movement and get in their landing zone. Finally the team has very little in the way genuine rim protection. Loon and Dray are both great at what they do, but they are just too small to be serious rim protection so they too are more prone to foul in those situation than some of the much larger centers who don't even need to jump in order to alter shots around the rim. This is why the team is constantly overhelping in the paint on opposing drives to the rim no one on the team is confident that whoever is back there is enough.
I doubt that any of those Steph haters would pass on the opportunity to have him or a player like him on their teams. What bothers some is not only that the Golden State Warriors play a pretty game. It's also that they win with it. For some others they have made basketball more entertaining. People who say "Defense wins championships" can't honestly say the Warriors don't play defense if they have watched them play. They're not like any of Coach Mike D'Antoni's teams. I'm not a Warriors fan, just a realist.
There was another video where I was talking about how officials are cheating steph and the warriors and everyone hated but my man here at hoop reports has the receipts
Curry doesn't get the foul on 3s because he always split his legs during his shot whenever he sees a defender chasing him for the defense in order to initiate the contact and then fall afterwards to sell it. The refs don't buy that anymore because they are sick and tired of seeing it everytime. Oh, and remember that wcf with the rockets where durant saved the ball whilst stepping outside the court and gets away with it? Well the refs are getting back with that big mistake on their part because it is clearly seen on national tv. That's that. Live with it
You do know always means every time? Does that account for get run into or hit on the arms? If he always splits his legs he would get called for offensive fouls! I haven't seen one offensive leg call on Curry all season...Always?
Yeah, no offensive fouls. But no foul calls either on the opposing team. Which is fair for him. And yes every time. If he sees a defender coming for him when he is making 3pt shots. If there's no defender or if he knows the defender won't reach him in time, then there's no need for him to split his legs.
I was not a basketball fan ...till 2014 I don't know anything about nba But one morning in 2015 I wake up early in the morning to watch ipl highlight match but they are displaying GSW match and first time I watched the goat steph curry and believe me or not I fall in love with this game after seeing steph shooting.....so dear haters, just keep hating and crying ....because that is the only thing that you can do🤣😂

It's more fun than Ja and JP getting called for questionable dribbling.
grizzlies should not talk trash tbh
They think they are a dinasty when they are ringless bunch of clowns
MJ is still the GOAT for me. but 96 bulls would be just another playoff team with today's NBA. If 90s basketball is much better way to play, then everyone would play like that. Now every team plays almost like the warriors because it is well known to be more effective, and efficient.
Definitely disagree suns made it to the finals a couple years ago and shot the most mid range shots but shot it any an insane percentage so it was more effective to play like that if you got the right coach and personal
@@joshsmith1854 Wasn't GS hurt? Yeah no Wiseman or Klay.......
@@savonsanders8684 can’t use that logic buddy doesn’t work in your favor when the first chip y’all won k love and kyrie were hurt lol
You kinda forgot about the rule changes and the disgusting amount of travels refs don't call nowadays which help players get into open 3's and layups. Rules and officiating are so different that today's NBA is not comparable to the 90's.
When the time Steph came over the injuries and got that first MVP, that was the time old players started retiring.
it always gets me how they always whine about Steph getting "illegal screens" but they literally be bear hugging him the entire time they literally always grappling him every single possession like GTFOH Lol
As a ref the three and 5 second calls were right as it is based on the intent to leave the area which both of them had
The nba admitted they were wrong in the last 2 minute report…
They literally disclose the last 2 minutes of every games ref errors (if it's within 3 points at any time during the 4th quarter ) and they had 5 calls wrong, all favoring the Celtics.
he seems to forget how Steph and gsw lost the 2016 finals with loads of calls not being called for them or being missed. you could pick any of the last games in that series and see how 4-5 clear fouls were "missed", which could have changed any one of those games results. after that curry got less and less calls his way, refs seem to overcompensate when calling fouls for Steph just cause of all the narrative
This video is bang on correct and I truly hope the NBA will stop doing this otherwise they should get ready for another revenge season, we set our own destiny - veen doing it for the past 8 years. Bring it on Refs!!! 😎
He change NBA, he's the reason why it is exciting to watch him everytime, and he's definitely the reason why I love basketball. I don't care what haters says. I'm gonna keep supporting.

Preach...The NBA is trying to make stars...so no calls on Ja, Luka,Giannis, KD, etc....
Kuminga is improving heaps and the boy is 20 years old. He is the future of warriors.
Think about how big of an advantage that is
And Steph just threw his mouthpiece and got ejected. Literally got ejected for it!
I was waiting patiently for this after beating Memphis
As you can see this season, warriors averages 2 calls a game for illegal screens. If you're a hater then it will be justice for your petty conscience. But, saying that they give Steph every call is just plain stupid. This guy can't guard his in-law, and I bet he can't talk about it at home so he steamed it out on an interview. Hahaha
He is butthurt about it lol. But to say that Steph gets all the calls?? That's just a lie. There's so many times he receives contact and no call at all. Plenty of other players in the league that pick up easy touch fouls compared to Steph
Lol Austin Rivers is just bitter because Stephen Curry ruined his entire career, and when are ppl gonna start hating LeBron, or KD, Or Luka, Giannis, or the actual players that get a lot of calls their way. It's truly a disgrace to see the NBA rig The greatest 3 point shooter in History and then, because he overcomes that bs, claim he's cheating. Guess what NBA, why not just get good instead of punishing greatness
Great video. Way to shed some light and truth on this persona of the Warriors being favored by the league. The Boston game is so rough to watch towards the end, really makes you think how rigged the NBA is.
Jeez, why don't you just quit watching then.
You do know the refs gave the boston celtics moreeee free throw the entire series right?

Then spend your whole life bitching then, there's nothing else you can do about it. I can't control what anyone thinks or says. But, I can control what I want to hear. I'm done with the lame ass excuses.
I grew up with some tough times with the Warriors, from the Twin Towers, to the RUN TMC days, and sure it was always fun, but never satisfying because they would always lose, make bad draft picks and trades. And I remember some fans complaining about the Celts, Lakes, Pistons, Bulls, or Rockets, being favored, or rigged to win. So I understand why anyone would feel that way. But to say they won without trials and struggles, and that it was given to them??? Man, that's just disrespectful, and your team deserves to lose, and you go deeper and deeper into your conspiracy BS, until the point of not watching again. That's my point.
I mean, they missed 5 calls in 7 minutes (2 regulations, 5 OT). That means in regulation, if that trend stayed the same, they missed roughly 34 calls. That's a missed call every 1.4 minutes in 48 minutes (48 ÷ 1.4 = 34.3). Now I know that's not true, but even 20 missed calls in 48 minutes seems insanely high.
I always love your content bro. I'm a fan since then. Keep it up💪💪

bruh , the 17" GSW had 3 of the best shooters the game has ever seen , by the time Bulls realise that they would be 30 points behind by half time. guarding Curry is one thing but guarding him + Klay + KD ... at that point you just hope they have a bad night or it's gg .

He said Klay got all ball stripping Brown, when he did not touch the ball at all...bias??
Curry is league darling, don't like that doc rivers kid but he is right..
What is the beat/song at the end I'm tryna make a crazy sample
This is happening to the lakers as well. Every game they compete but then lose bc cause of some bs calls. Im a warriors fan, but just also wanted point out some other teams are getting crap calls
the warriors do set illegal screens though just watch that warriors v cleveland game
(Except for Shaq)
I have been waiting for this video by the way because at the start of the 2022-2023 season It's clear that the NBA is trying to get rid of the Warriors out of the Playoff pic.
Trust me Dennis, people would rather see Steph shoot from 50 feet then watch you take a free throw.
I dont agree with the idea that star players should be treated differently by the refs, like the rules r what they r and should be applied the same way to all players.
However, since we know that star players get calls in their favor significantly more often than some bench player, it must be said that steph most def does not get treated the same as other superstars.
They said the same thing about Jordan his entire career.
To be fair jordan got 8 average ft per game while Steph got like 4..
bro, no one could touch Jordan after he became the face of the NBA
JK is gonna be very big in 3-4 years 🔥

bro you've been constantly making the same vid but i enjoy it
Your take on that warrior and boston game was spot on. Refs are trashed.
The warriors got to string wins together and execute over the next couple of games.🏀
The Warriors have the greatest free throw disparity (Warrior FT per game vs opponents FT per game) of any other team in the league.
No 3 sec call bc he only had ONE foot in thats why ..
I look forward to your breakdowns, such attention to details in your analysis. Thanks again and keep up the great work 👌🏻
Steph can never get the calls on his 2 or 3 pointers, it would put him on the line which will produce a 90% chance of winning a game and bring his point per game average at a minimum of 35 points per game or even high.
The game between Boston and Warriors are expected that the IDIOT REFS WILL GIVE THE FAVOR TO THE CELTICS.
Watch the game badcalls were on both teams so don't just listen to one warrior D rider
yeah, even NBA reports said admitted that miss call at last 2-3 min OT game
2:58 is it really a 3sec violation if one of your feet it outside the paint?
There is a very popular conspiracy theory in Chinese NBA fans that the league does not want Stephen Curry to be successful because he did not sign with Nike
I think this makes sense. Nike currently provides almost, if not all, of the sports apparel in the NBA.
Exactly! If Steph was with Nike he would probably get 7-8 trips to line every night.
Now I really want the warriors to win again just as a middle finger to all the haters.
Hoop reports strikes again with another amazing video 💥
90s basketball had super star tiers (could not breathe on those players) and repeat offense. These teams today can shoot. 88 points to win a game is unheard of today. That only happened in the jordan era.
Great takes, always thought the same especially about the Boston game
Steph is still the best player in the NBA and when you think he's cheating that's how you know your salty
Bro I love the Warriors but you reach in super hard especially with the whole refs calling the game on they're behalf thing, like ref's f****** up every game that I watch and swing in one direction or another
Denis Rodman needs to get somewhere and sit his old ass down! Go and find that woman “Peggy” who took all your money 😂
Thats a rude way to talk about your brother in law.
What Scottie and Rodman are getting at is the way the game is played as a whole. Not just the warriors it’s cool Steph can make all these crazy shots and do all this stuff but it sucks because the defense can’t do anything to stop it not for lack of trying but these rules are leaning to heavily one way
Adam Silver straight up said he wanted to reach a demographic, and make basketball more entertaining, as soon as he said that, warriors magically started winning chips, as steve kerr saw the opportunity and took warriors because they shoot a lot of 3s, midrange and post fades used to be entertaining, but 3 point shooting is also very entertaining and was different, its cool seeing deep shots go in, rather than slash, and slow post ups, he even wants more spectacular dunks and layups, so silver did all he could to make sure teams shoot more outside by enabling illegal screens, and made sure more highlight dunks and layups were broadcasted by allowing illegal screens, same with ball handling style by enabling carry's, its all in front of us
@@theonlygoodonehere2259 this shit is ruining the game.

Stephen Curry still his PRIME 🔥🔥🔥
Draymond green would be a total joke if he played somewhere else
Yeah i think this is the closest to the truth, fact is refs can't catch never mind call everything

4:00 how are you meant to know that? They don’t have replays live in front of them in slow motion.
