6:33 He didn't even run him over. That's what I love about this game you can directly run someone over six times and it might not kill them or you can bump them slightly or be bumps slightly at full health and instantaneously die.
@@juanpablolozanotorres2437 Yeah definitely. If you're standing directly in front or behind a tank, it's 100% your fault if you get run over. The tank's life is more important than any infantry player
I think they designed the animation of the rail cannon with the Tollan ion cannon in mind , from Stargate SG-1. and much like a lot of the story and aspects of planetside to SG1 was never finished.
I think a fire team in AP lightnings could actually take the Colossus down if they coordinated , using the lightning the way it's meant to be used in cover and mobility circling the Colossus like wolves around a moose unfortunately that level of coordination and outfits and planetside nowadays is quite rare
Really sad blueberries dont gravitate around a Colossus like they di bastions. Whenever I see one driving around now i always join them with a Sunday or another gun.
got be a gunner, and ran a full squad one colossus and wack load of rep sundays, we get kept pounded by air though and finally got wiped out by an orbital
Lots and lots of grinding. Like how you need 1000 cert for a new gun, you grind 50-250 cert in a couple of hours. It really depends on the method. The problem here is that you gotta balance cert grinding and having fun... You can have fun playing but you may not earn much cert. You can try crazy tactics but you will always be outnumbered by more well built players. New players has no choice but to grind for a few weeks and tackle stuff in groups before they can be on par with some players. The game also have some desparity in terms of latency and hit registration sooo .
250XP = 1 Cert point, its not hard in a actual fire fight if you have a powerful loadout or vehicle and lots of support to stay alive... But with a weak build or skills you will see yourself getting 10XP or 50XP in some sense at best for a minute or two. Its not worth it to hunt players for XP btw, too much effort on a moving target that might run away or call friends to hunt you down. Too much respawning basically. If you damage them but don't kill in 5 seconds, they will turn and their group will target you, so avoid randomly shooting at every enemy that moves, and avoid calling out enemies when no allies are around, they can hear you.
As much as infiltrator sniper rifles feels like the most safest it is not the most rewarding for long range. The Assault is okayish but avoid groups because they can see you a mile away and with their call outs. Medic and Engineer is the most survivable classes due to reliance on vehicles or being able to heal. If you do want to go with infiltrator, be prepared to sink quite a bit of cert to be competitive. The stealth is really not as great as you would think, you need a powerful side arm for the stalker cloak.
You need to be in an outfit and have access to the right armory resources to deploy one. If you really wanna jump into one find out when bigger outfits do their public operations and hang out with those guys, they sometimes pull one out and let random players hop in to use the turrets. Not sure why the other dude replied like five times to explain how certs work without ever saying how to pull this thing...
The colossus is not that impressive, like you said it's like a bigger Vanguard. It's too weak and too underpowered. It should have been more like those 100t tanks that are super powerful and almost indestructible but can only move very slowly and need time to setup for firing. So they would mostly run out of energy or ammo than be destructed. And the enemy should be able to take posession of it.
I'd rather have a huge tank that can hull down to open its armor plating and turn into a bunker, but its main form of attack is indirect fire at mid range with its slow rate of fire and large AoE. The tank can be unique in that it will have 4 sections of its own separate HP and Armor at each corner of its treads, when hull down it 'transforms' into a bunker and raises those treads into a barrier, like a Siege Tank.

He definitely got hit with a trunk.
16:50 classic NC
well yes but a tip for everyone who read this, don't stay right behind vehicles, sometimes they need to move no matter what.

He shouldn't have been standing there.

Maybe someone can give an explanation, What are the conditions for buying a Colossus? And what is permission from Outfit to buy Colossus?
You have to have armory permissions to build and pull a Colossus, but other than that, *ANYONE* can spend their points on kitting one out.
1:56 truly an NC moment, didn't even hesitate

That’s more what outfits do tho they bring the ammo and repair sunderas

Ps4
got be a gunner, and ran a full squad one colossus and wack load of rep sundays, we get kept pounded by air though and finally got wiped out by an orbital
dang, the colossus looks fun as hell!
What! When was this put in the game!?
IT IS A BANEBLADE!
Collosus, to bring even more freedom to Auraxis ;)
*THE BANEBLADEEEE*
what did you spend your certs on doom?
wtf? i know i haven't played PS2 in a while, but they came out with new tanks?
Yeah costs a ton of outfit resources, super vulnerable to tank mines though, 5 kill it.
you need to put this tank on an armor battle doom
when will there be new continents?
Doesn't seem like its on the horizon, the other one they were working on got scrapped and there are RUMORS of a potential Esamir/Indar change.
What vehicle is that I play planet side 2 on ps4 so I’ve never seen that before
The Colossus tank. It's new and designed to counter Bastion Fleet Carriers.
Is this update out for ps4 yet?
Now yes
Casual excellence
i dont even know how to spawn this thing
Its crafted in the outfit armory, colors on bases indicate what resources your outfit gets for getting the capture ( most points )
This was epic to watch
But it was so bad lol
Looks like the halo 5 scorpion
Finally, something that can go toe to toe with a harasser!! (You may be NC but at least you're not TR.)
When Noobs playing a Colossus
@@abpabp464 and so shit english OMG
Who cares, they're having fun. Doesn't matter how good they are.

Then you have the stupid queues... If your faction gets locked out of places you will be stuck in VR or Queues for a long while.

They should make more vehicles with 3 or 4 people and more accessible to the masses not just a brig.
technology equals might BITCHESSSS!!!

This game is full of Lagers, Cheats, and Exploiters. I would not recommend it to any friend. I've been playing it for years. Now it's just broken.
