Last day of Stagecoach London operation of Route 262/473

- 29/03/2019 saw the last day 262 and 473 being operated by Stagecoach. This is crazy as WH have very less routes now. The recordings have taken place over the years of SLN operation. I just put them all together and created this.

Route 262 is operated by Stagecoach London from West Ham (WH) garage running between Stratford and East Beckton Sainsbury’s via Balaam Street, Plaistow Station, Newham Hospital, Beckton Stn, Gallions Reach Station, Gallions Reach Shopping Park and Beckton Triangle Retail Park using Scania Omnicity 10.8m and occasional ALX400 bodied Dennis tridents. This route will pass to Tower Transit on 30/03/19. Using Volvo B9TL Gemini 2 10.4m.
Route 473 is operated by Stagecoach London from West Ham Garage (WH) and runs between Stratford and North Woolwich via Plaistow, Newham Leisure Centre, Prince Regent and London City Airport using ALX400 Bodied Dennis Tridents 9.9m and 10.5m and Scania OmniCitys 10.8m. Normally 262 and 473 Will use buses from 678 after it has operated. This route (alongside 262) will be passing to Tower Transit with vehicles not confirmed from Lea Interchange (LI) garage. No further route changes will be done.

I like West ham have kept some tridents for extras on different routes however the same can't be said for half of West ham scanias

@@TheLambSauce659 SD got withdrawn around early 2008 as it was located at Waterden road. It was inside Olympic Park and the SD garage moved to U garage for time being until WH garage got built. Olympic Park got built after SD garage got demolished.

Yeah they Lost 262 473 158 104 big lost. Let's hope Arriva sell they company Stagecoach can take over take back 158
@@plasmauktransport1657 Also, East Beckton used to be dominated by Stagecoach, until the 325 moved to Arriva whilst the ALX200s were being withdrawn. Now, the 262 is with Tower Transit. What is next, 366 to Go-Ahead? Let's hope that does not happen.

Enviro 400 MMCs are cool on 262/473 lol. But that's off with the head for TA tridents forever! I want new hybrids on my area

No. You still have the routes 241, 257, 238 and 97.
@@TheLambSauce659 Keeping us strong but Stratford will not be the same as 241 and 97 go to city so there are only 2 routes per station.
@@SelkentBus Yes. Stratford is changed forever. Only 238 and 257 to go. If route 257 goes back to Go-Ahead and 238 goes to CT Plus or something like that and the 241 gets diverted away from Stratford bus station, then Stratford will no longer be a place for Stagecoach. This is sad as back then, Stratford was almost all- Stagecoach and no other operator. Yes, this included route 104, 158, 257, 25, and 276. Routes D8 and 425 were not Stagecoach.

257 went to Go Ahead in 2012 with Existing WVL chasis and 257 fits in go ahead better then stagecoach(in my opinion) @@TheLambSauce659
