This was a brilliant episode from a guy cut from tough working class roots with a lot of drama in his family life, he stuck to what he was great at to become a cross code legend. I had a look at the World Cup final try he scored and from what he revealed, you realise the incensed frustration in his face when he scored, even when his teammates came to congratulate him

Is that Tindall or Tom Kerridge?

Grew up in Leeds and I’m glad he played league rather than union. But, and this is mentioned with huge respect, Jason seems bitter. Given his faith you would think that even though Sale isn’t the club for him, another would jump at engaging his talents in the Youth game. Can he not see beyond the crap and forgive? Shame.
