As a only Ness main, and a main reason why I started play him. Is a lot of his moves are multi hit. Which makes combos look cooler that what they actually are. And also one you learn his magnet, combos somehow become easier

Honestly, great positivity on his end. There were multiple times where he was down 2 stocks and said, “I can win this” instead of being pessimistic. That’s something I really struggle with when playing, so seeing someone like riddles have that attitude in those situations is something I think a lot of players should learn from.

I mean by all accounts he was losing at the time of the disconnect anyway, so even if you go by percents instead of arena removal it's still a loss. It is what it is though, good shit not tilting

They should've just replayed that one.
@@HeyMomonia He could have POSSIBLY made the comeback yes. He could've also never landed a hut again and gotten destroyed. We'll never know. But by all considerable metrics he was losing. And the match ended. It's no different than a time out.
If they restart the game then that just gives all the momentum back to the losing player. Not exactly fair for Maister.
Losing the game with so much left to be played sucks but that's what you agree to when you sign up for a wifi tournament. Better to just take your lumps and move on to the next game.

@@antmck99 Big ups to Ferps for the Ferps tech, Tea, Acola as a joke secondary to mention a few national talents.
Kazuya is still mid tier. Sure he is scary but just keep your distance and play safe. He strong but most players overrate him and those are mostly mid ladder players that don‘t know how to counter him. I think the Luigi did a good job playing against him for example.

I love seeing Riddles use all the parts of the Bufflo. It's not just Grab>Electric>FFNair>CrJab>Electric>Nair>Risingdemon>Whatever the DP is. Using his tilts, his crouch rolling kick, more GoH. Its awesome to see. O and edge garding too.

Kazuya has a move called the Dragon Uppercut like I mentioned before. Which uses the same input.
Ryu and Ken's dp is their Shoryuken.
Terry's dp is his Power Dunk since it also uses the same input. (And in his games, Rising Tackle uses the same motion input, just uses a different button)

Riddles I've had what happened to you before. So if your internet router has a hiccup even if it's for 0.000001 seconds and no other device connected to it goes offline, smash drops you. I'm not kidding.
What happened is more than likely your router had a small hiccup for 1/10th a second and instead of lagging it just dropped you.
Yet people can have consistent slow connections and not get DC.
I figured this out when my smash dropped before but my discord call with friends was still on going and I was like what the heck. And I checked internet logs and router was off for like 4 milliseconds
honestly a clutch run, losing to Maister is nothing to be ashamed of (especially with the connection related issue)

the thing is, unless every player in the tourney had to record/stream their gameplay, anyone can fake a DC when they're losing just to get a "retry." I hate that the DC happened like that but I think the rule makes sense. it's wifi, what can we do about it
