I may be super late, but I am starting to crochet! I am going to get more yarn on Sunday, on attempts to use the exact same materials you used on your tote bag tutorial 🥲. Anyway, my tips to knit quicker are to relax your fingers and make loose stitches. Not too loose, but loose so that you can glide the needles together easier. I hope this makes sense, and I hope you have improved since you’ve posted this!

I’m a crochet and knitter and I just wanted to let you know it looks to me like you’re working the stockinette stitch. Which is actually very easy to learn in to knit in the round. Also “ very pink Knits” has very clear instruction videos and has a video on almost every technique/ stitch.

As for favorite yarn I love Alpaca , but it can be a little pricey. But it’s unbelievably soft but the nice thing with knitting is you use less yarn then crochet.

i dont use fancy yarns i just use craft yarn i had when i was five to crochet and it really works.And i want to do this cuz i want to save up for something cool to crochet so i just use basic yarn i found in the storage >3

I usually use 100% acrylic but 50%acrylic 50% wool is my favourite
