    Love ur energy!! I hope every kid gets someone like you as a teacher!! .... thank you for the detailed break down of how to collect standards evidence.
    ....saw another video in which the lady also gave a good idea of having a 'virtual' Evidence folder on all your devices so throughout the year you can just collect even minor evidence like an appreciation email from your HOD saying some class worked out well and it fits with one standard or the other. Or some piece of a student's work where they show progression from last piece etc.
    Collecting lesson plans in one place is easy if you make them on your computer in the first place but she said to just even take pictures with your phone of anything relevant and you can print it out for your hard copy folder later. So before submission you can check all your evidence folders either on your phone, laptop etc as well to print out extra stuff.

    Love how clearly you set this out. You can tell you'd be able to navigate it easily and that's part of what they look for when you present your folder. Thanks for sharing x

    Thank you so much for such a timely video - I start my PGCE next week and I've been slowly spiralling into panic. I finished my SKE English almost two weeks ago and I wanted to give myself a break but I've been stressing about the PGCE endlessly. I literally am at the point where I can't eat or sleep because I'm freaking out a little. Rewatching all of your teaching related videos to help ease my nerves. :)

      Habeebah K Oh dear! All that stress can’t be good for you. I’m glad my videos are helping though! 😊 You’ll see, once you start your PGCE your nerves will ease up. Good luck 😁

    Hey, I just want to say a massive big thank you for all your videos directed towards new PGCE students! You're such a star! I have one question though, I've previously worked in a school and have certificates given by them, could I put this in my evidence folder before my course starts? Or do I have to achieve them during my PGCE year?

    • @MysteryDateWithaBook
      @MysteryDateWithaBook  3 года назад

      Aw thanks 😊 Yeah, as far as I know you need to do them during your course. So any evidence you gather needs to be done during your PGCE. Sorry 😞

    I had been very tempted to do a PGCE to teach secondary but I already have an MSc and I really can't put myself through that again hahaha

      PGCE is far more intensive than MSc

      @@abdullahk8691 #1. Okay? If anything you're solidifying my point
      #2. Surely that would depend on the MSc?

      @@AbiofPellinor I've been involved in education for 20 years and the PGCE will generally be harder work than a master's degree.
      Yes agree; if you've been through a master's I understand why you wouldn't want to do it again!
