My personal head cannon is that she is Tala, and is actually just creatively trying to tell her own story
I totally agree that makes this a lot more fun
So refreshing to see character design done with prehistoric designs, makes me want to try out the same
❤
Very glad to know you're still excited about the conlang!
Good to have you back, glad you’re doing well!
awesome sauce
Hey, just wanted to say: Hannah, you've inspired me so much with creating my own setting. It's awesome how you're documenting your journey! I can't thank you enough :^)
As a fellow drawer. 'sigh'
I feel you, mate. I feel you. It never gets easier drawing the body. It never does 😩
Honestly never heard of a conlang, so thank you for introducing me to that.
The language thing reminds me of kind of what happens in Land before time and all that, where they call leaves, tree stars and all that stuff.
I love Stone Age stuff and general and absolutely love your character designs!
Things I most want to know about your world are:
- How evolution of your world animals is different from ours. Some weird/ interesting fauna out there?
- Besides immortal main character, how much magic/ supernatural phenomena (and fauna) will there be in the world?
I can't wait for videos about that :)
Don't worry to much I think your doing really well Love your channel
Always enjoy hearing you ramble
Love the new style & the tidbits of Tolok it feels like it really fits the setting
The leg wrappers could also represent early cultural trends that aren't necessarily needed but are kept cause the tribe just vibes with it. Having other groups with their own quirks when it comes to cultural trends would add more humanity to the stone age setting.
"I think about a lot of stuff, but I don't actually do a lot of stuff." SAME UGH
I have so many questions and things I’m excited for!
After she becomes immortal, I’m assuming word will spread. Will she become a religious figure (willing or not)? How will she view personal relationships as she grows older, knowing she’ll always outlive everyone? How will she view projects because of her long life span? Example, planting a forest because she will see the fruit of her labor.
I’m so so so so excited to learn more about her family and their daily lives!
You’re doing such a good job!!
P.s. subscribed!
Amazing video! I understand what you mean digital art doesn’t feel the same as traditional
You are my favorite online artist right now, probably because I also have an obsession with the paleolithic era so finding this channel was like finding a goldmine to me
Wohoo!
Digital art felt very unnatural to me as well until i switched to procreate on tne ipad instead of desktop drawing programs, there's something about the brush engine in procreate that feels way more natural
I have to say, I absolutely love your art style. I wouldn't mind watching more speedpaints just to see more of it!
❤❤❤❤❤
Believe me, it’s so much easier to evolve preexisting words than making a whole new language when you know NOTHING about linguistics 😭 you’ve been given a gift
Let's go! Hannahsmth video
new video!!!!
I have two questions:
- Does this world have an actual name or are you simply calling it Mirror Earth?
- Will this world's history be a perfect mirror of our own or will you add some small difrences? Like humans domesticating foxes instead of wolves and wildcats or something.
Tala is so pretty 😌❤️❤️❤️
You mentioned how you do art for your job, and that got me curious- what is your job? I of course understand if you don't want to answer as this is a pretty personal question and I am a random guy on the internet.
Are you going to introduce Neanderthal characters eventually? Great vid btw
If you don't mind me asking, why is all their hair white?
Is there an in universe reason or is it just to look cool, because it does look cool.
Ancient people had stunted growth and were far shorter than modern times due to comparatively lacking nutrients, most people would be around 150cm~
im happy youre back but the first thing i noticed is that you put your character heights down to the millimeter. I dont know why you did this but the only explanation I can come up with is that you first decided on the height in inches and then did the 2.52 conversion
Although it looks great, is there a reason for them all having white hair that I missed?
♡im early yay so cool keep it up♡
Just a question about your world, I know that your world is set in the stone age, but will you continue it though the other eges? If not, why?
Watch the first few worldbuilding videos, they should answer your questions ;p
@@titanis2570 thx, I will check
¿☆♡Why do they have white hair?♡☆?
Not sure. They also shouldn't have white skin, all humans had dark skin at this period.
Because they're cartoon characters
@@jivejunior8753pretty sure there were more than one skin colour 50 thousand years ago
You'd be wrong, surprisingly. Light skin evolved 22,000 to 28,000 years ago in Homo sapiens. Like lactose tolerance, it took time for the mutations to appear.
@@jivejunior8753do we have any idea of variations in how dark people were 50kya? Or is it just “dark skinned “?
Im impressed and surprised that one of the characters managed to make it to 50 given the fact that the lifespan was usually up to like 30 back then but they can just be built different you know 6:37
The average lifespan was so low because of how many people died as infants/children. If they made it to adulthood, they didn't die that much earlier or more often than we do in the modern era.
60s up to 70 are not unheard of, I seem to recall. There is a theory that grandparents were an important part of our evolution (though 40 is old enough to be a grandparent).
Just got jump scared by Afrikaans I didn't know you where from South Africa ,cool
Hi
