No, you have to go with International standard like ASTM (American society of Testing material ) .
what should be pressure reading during test ??

PN stand for pressure rating of HDPE pipe
If You are using PN 6 that means 6kg/sq CM
Than you have to test 1.5 time of that means 9 kg/sq cm .

PN stand for pressure rating and 6 stand for 6 kg/cm2 , in lab pipe is tested on 9kg/cm2 at site in hydro test we check on 6kg/cm2. In butt fusion joint
Electro fusion joint can be bear 9kg/cm2 at site definitely.

There are no any IS code for specially hydro testing of HDPE Pipe you can refer IS CODE for Hydro Testing of PE Pipe that is IS 7634 2012 part 2
