    Scaling and alignment tip: put the top layer in difference mode. When you are aligned nearly all the image turns black with some white outlines.

    Very clever love it, you could make a transition out of it.. on the last clip you walk into frame and start speaking making it seem like you teleported in a way.

    would love to see something like this done as an infinite loop so that it goes back to the original shot and maybe have it so that in each different zoom length there's a new subject

    • @GregConquest
      @GregConquest Год назад +7

      Good idea. You could also reverse this, zoom in with final frames showing the subject, but holding a photo/iPad/mirror showing the original zoomed out image. Then continue zooming in again revealing the different subject, as you suggested. The "photo" the subject is holding could even be from an entirely different location: desert scene, underwater, tiny blue dot earth down to a drone zoom, etc.

    Cool idea! I think I saw somebody doing something similar, but instead of stitching shots, using PS's generative fill to create the extra space that's being zoomed into. Worked out surprisingly well. Al though you get static images instead of moving frames of course

    Really cool effect!
    I have a suggestion when aligning multiple layers like this: instead of making the upper layer semi transparent, set it to Difference blend mode. When the images are closely aligned, the overlaid image will turn mostly black. Areas of the image that are not aligned (i.e, "Different") will highlight in a bright color. Very foolproof way to quickly align layers.
    Edit: I see someone else already suggested this 😅

      @@-Viceroy- It's not 4k when 90% of pixels are intra frame guesses, based on a compression algorithm, or inter frame interpolations. None of what you see onscreen is even real. It's a cartoon, drawn by a computer, to save storage space. And the sensor is garbage. And the lens......you couldn't even buy a decent lens for the price of a P900 and a P1000 combined. They're both toys. Even for shooting stll photographs. But for actual video, they don't even qualify as toys
