My son and I are huge Liverpool fans and we live in Canada, but to see the joy on you, your father and all the Bolton fans was amazing to see. I watch most of your broadcasts and it's great to see you bringing a match, wherever you are, and showing it through the eyes of the fans. Your football intelligence about each club you go to, is really incredible for being relatively young. I'm very happy for you and your father that Bolton won the match, quite convincingly and it's great to see how much it meant to all Bolton fans. I've followed Liverpool since I was a wee lad of 5 and I'm 67 now. I had family who lived there, so this is the main reason why. I'm made sure when my son was growing up that he supported Liverpool because I did marry and Evertonian. She's great, but it makes for fun times in our household. LOL. I know I'm rambling Thogden, but I just wanted to commend you and your fine podcasts and give you a bit of my background on the greatest game in the world. Please keep up the great work and all the best to you, your father and all the Bolton fans. Well done mate.

Been a Bolton fan since a child, stood in the stands at burden park. Watched us play Liverpool, reading , Watford at Wembley and even went to watch us against pne in Cardiff. To see us go to almost nothing and win a cup final is mesmerising. Proud of the lads and the club
I've been a Bolton Wanderers for 23 years in Nigeria and I can't be more happy. It's unfortunate I couldn't watch this live but all thanks to Thogden for bringing the matchday experience to me

It's not all bad news for me. Knocking on a bit my bruv and I decided to make the trip to Wembley to support our club and because our Dad (bless him) was from Bolton and a Bolton fan and I believe we had an uncle that played a few games for Bolton back in the 1920s or 30s. There was always plenty of banter between us and Dad and I know he would have been laughing and probably giving us a finger or two from the Bolton end of Wembley yesterday so I have a huge soft spot for Wonderers, that said, if Dad was still alive I probably wouldn't have bothered returning to Plymouth yesterday!

Hi Theo, as a neutral as such it was a brilliant day and brilliant game, I’m a Coventry City fan and i know you’ve seen cov play at Wembley. My dad however is a Bolton fan, he has Alzheimer’s but I managed to get him there today and he loved it. congratulations BWFC and the Fans. BWFC Will always be my second team. COYW 💙

I'm and American and die hard Newcastle United fan. I didn't know much about the lower English leagues til I started binging Thogden and Away Days videos, it's given me a new and deeper appreciation for the English game. So cool you got to experience this!

Blue collar teams, diehard fans, ownership that has hung them out to dry until recently, new coaches, and young talent, both have promising futures. Seems like American fans can't really win with folks from footballing nations. Ya'll complain when we don't show respect to the beautiful game yet complain when that respect doesn't fit your narrative. Just gotta let people enjoy things mate.

What a day this was, saw them lift trophy against Torquay but made special taking my son who turns 30 this December to see Bolton lift a trophy for the first time was brilliant. Controlled the game from start to finish but even at 2 up i was still worried about a comeback but when the third went in it was sheer heaven everyone seemed to relax and the party started then. Hope this is the start of many great days again COYWM.
I’m genuinely so happy for Thogden and most of all Bolton. I watch his Bolton vlogs every time they are uploaded and I can’t help but turn into a wanderers fan when I watch them. From an arsenal fan I hope to see Bolton in the prem real soon.
Coventry fan here. We won this very trophy 6 years ago today and like you Theo, was the first trophy I saw us lift and was the start of something big for us. Hoping it's the same for your lot 🤞

Was never a massive football fan, but as a Bolton lad I’ve obviously always liked the Wanderers, used to go to a few games around 2003 on my Dad’s season ticket but just wasn’t that bothered. Last year I decided to take my nephew along to a game as he was enjoying football and I figured he needed to see what it was all about. While he is just about seeing the point, I fell in love with it. Went to the first home game of this season and decided I had to keep it up, grabbed a ST at the first opportunity (Dec) haven’t missed a game since, renewed as soon as possible. Went to Wembley with a big group of my friends yesterday and what an experience! We did see you filming as we were walking out of the station.

Bearing Preston in the play offs at Cardiff was a seminal moment, this feels like another. All credit to Sharon and her team, and of course, the long suffering supporters of our local town. 🤍🌹💙.
Just got back, I'm probably the only Bolton fan who lives in Plymouth...can't wait to walk round Plymouth this week in my Bolton shirt (I have 23 to choose from)...if I go into the town center everyone will see me, as they chopped down all the trees...! what a day, what a victory...this season we could be the first team to win at wembley twice in the same season!

Glad I didn't invest in the trip, Plymouth had it all wrong. Our back line got ruined.... Bolton played like a Prem team while Plym where lost. It wasn't a lack of wanting it, we were lost. Out prepared, out classed... Hopefully out of league one....

34 years I saw Bolton lift the same trophy (then called Sherpa Van Trophy) at (old) Wembley . Been a fan ever since.

I've been a Bolton fan since birth and when I went to Wembley I almost cried of joy the day was amazing, the players were outstanding and despite me not getting home until 12:30 I enjoyed every bit of it, I would 100% go again as it was one of the best days of my life and I'm only young, this will truly be an experience I will never forget for the rest of my life
