Thank you so much for this explanation! I heard this song when Silhouettes came out and I replayed this part every time. The video was awesome and I loved this huge part around the craziness of the song.
That part with synth is very interesting, thanks for explaining how it's connected to guitar chords. It really has everything in it but still it sounds so musical and huge! Btw, my youtube nickname is a short version of makesexnotwar, i guess this way it would be easier to read )
I always wondered why the regenesis part at 1.57 sounds so big, but i guess it is the same 'concept'? Pf, when 4th chord hits around 2.09... that was the moment drawing circles became my no1 album of all time. And still is.
Hi Kas! No, that's something different: that's just a strong chord progression (made by Jochem mostly) I'll see if I can dissect that one in the future! Noted 📝 cheers man, hope you're well 🤘🏻
@@BartHennephof sorry for poor choice of words 😁 i meant the synth being a huge part of that massive sound. But yeah a dissection of that progression is very welcome!!
@@kkluitman ah, like all synths of Textures: it's full of cluster chords! I have a video explaining about that on guitar, check it out! Cluster chords give tension and dissonance, in a beautiful way!
As someone who writes 99.9% in Harmonic Minor and Phrygian Dominant this is eye opening ❤️
Thanks buddy! Glad u like it!🔥🤘🏻
Gives me goosebumps still too, love it.
Loved the episode, cant wait for the next one!

Whats also happening, is the AMAZING sounding 5150... Love it!

Love this song, was the first song I heard from you guys!

Richard's pads are/were a big part of Textures' unique sound, dare I say :)
Very true 👊🏻👊🏻
One of my favorite musical breaks. Loving this series \m/
