Excellents products and Rocked the tips
What really helps for healthy hair is to sleep on satin pillow cases, Also, put your hair up in a rubber band on top of your head when you sleep. If you wrap your hair around itself and secure with bobbie pins on top of your head also gives you nice waves the next morning. Any time your hair is rubbing against anything it's getting subtle damage.
I’d say no rubber bands, at least for me. They tear my hair like crazy! But invisibobbles or fabric scrunchies are great!
@@TheMrsWarhol Rubber bands are the devil...as are bobbie pins where the plastic on the end is partially off, it rips your hair.
I let my really long hair just rest above me on the silk pillow. I sleep better without it pulling on my head. Also I only wash it about every 5 or 6 days and use dry shampoo once or twice in between. My hair has a fair amount of blonde highlights but it's really pretty healthy.

I’m in sweltering Houston, for the love of God I don’t know how it can be this hot. I miss living by the beach. Galveston does not count imho. I got spoiled. I spent 4 years in Laguna and it was heavenly. I’m loving your content and just wanted to extend my gratitude once again. 🫶🪷
Just in time! My hair is thick and wavy and I prefer to air dry for healthy hair, but man it’s a roll of the dice every time 😂. I’m going to Charlotte NC for a long weekend and I was trying to figure out how to get good hair for 4 days 😅! Thank you Lisa!

Thank u for the video! When i was 30 yo i could air dry into smooth , soft texture . Now that Im 55 my hair dries in frizzy wonky waves. I'll try some of the products.

Omg I soooo needed this video NOW , I’m currently down in Myrtle beach at my condo and as you say this weather down here is no joke , it’s hot and humid and I dread doing my hair down here , it’s just do humid here , and for some reason the water when I shower is different, my hair is awful down here , I will be now trying some of these products , I absolutely love down here but my hair pays for it ,I’ll be staying here for 4 months being on the beach and pool everyday I don’t want to fuss with my hair

I love Kenra Design Spray #9. It's a light hold and smells like cotton candy! The absolute best smelling hairspray ever!
Abbey Yung uses the OGX oil all over her hair before she brushes it and then washes it. She says its a good and inexpensive oil to do that with since she uses it often and a lot of it 😍

This is exactly my routine to achieve the same look!. I just don’t have very many layers. My bangs are starting to grow out. But I can do the same thing, and BBCURL UPON YOUR suggestions a year ago! I’ve gone just a little darker & not as blonde as I used to go.

Loved this video! I have lot of blonde lughtlights, My Fav Cleanser is WEN, my fav hair oil is Paul Mitchell Get Skinny oil, I pull my hair up on top of my head with coil band too. I have natural curly hair also I was light blonde till I was 8yrs old. I dry my hair till its almost dry, I hate wet hair on my neck..but I need to let it dry with out dryer. Tfs❤❤❤

I have blonde naturally curly hair .. try putting some ouidad humidity control gel in your hair while it’s wet and scrunch it in.. after dries scrunch again with oil to get rid of crunch.. helps so much with frizz .. I live in Hampstead so I deal with same humidity issues as u😊
Oh that is funny that you use a space heater. I found my mom lying on the floor one time and it shocked me because I just saw her feet beside the bed. But she told me that she dries her hair on the heating vents and it dries less frizzy. So I started doing that too 😄
We are still enjoying the spring out here in So California, summer is over a month away.

Also I never know how to sleep with my hair.. You put it in a high bun but doesnt that cause more hair loss ? thats what everyone tells me!
I find if I brush my hair while it's wet it dries frizzy as opposed to not touching it except combing with fingers.
when hair is wet and is brushed , you’re essentially stretching it and it snaps in many places along the cuticle hence the result is frizz.

You probably have wavy/curly hair so keep not touching it and it will get better and better

My hair is much shorter than yours, but I always look forward to air drying my hair in the warmer weather!

The Redken Blondage High Bright in the purple bottles is what is giving you the ashy look people are asking about, including me. I use that same one in the regular, I will have to try that.
I don't use the purple one~I use this one "Redken Blondage High Bright Shampoo helps brighten and lighten blonde hair between salon visits. Powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, this system washes away build-up and impurities and restores shine, leaving blonde hair brighter and lighter."

The High Bright is not a purple shampoo - it’s clear. It’ll brighten hair by removing minerals and metals, but it doesn’t tone. Purple shampoos cancel brass (yellow/orange) in blonde hair. Anything with a green base (color/toner) cancels red, so it is ashy. I am licensed and recently took a Redken class - they are so informative, and Redken products are excellent. And honestly, L’Anza is the best kept secret!! Lisa’s hair is so beautiful, and I have serious hair envy!!💕
@@TheMrsWarhol Thanks, I love Redken products. I did order them, and noticed they do a purple range as well. I guess I'll try them all eventually. ColorAmore does a really good purple shampoo, one of the best I've used. I saw the high brights have a light purple bottle so I was mistaken in thinking it toned, but looking forward to trying it.

@@luckygirl10036 it’s intended for blonde hair, but I suspect it will brighten silver hair. I imagine it wouldn’t do much for dark grey. Redken made a shampoo and conditioner for silver/grey hair (Color Extend Graydient) that is excellent to diminish yellow and tone. I think it may be discontinued as it’s not at my supply store any longer. I hope that helps!!💕
Re your suggestion to try Kendra thickening mousse (on another video) . Bought it at Ulta and LOVE this product. My hair is so shiny and the body is great, so different from many other products and will try other Kendra products. Next trip to Ulta, I'll try B & B curl re activator.

I love to air dry my hair. My hair is naturally bubbly curls. I don’t use much heat . Same with my human wigs I wear. I air dry and use low heat. 🎉

@@LisaLisaD1 Hi Lisa, I always use conditioner after I shampoo but its still a hassle because my hair is fine, (long) and gets matted. As I got older, my hair got drier...I don't really use a deep conditioner that often. Maybe I should...😏

I guess I am confused about when you comb your hair - only before washing it? I would have a hard time avoiding that. LOL Would have to sit on my hands. I just got my hair trimmed, highlights and some layers. My hair dresser said to just use some oil in it for air drying. Go figure. I also am confused about using curly products. Are they for curly hair or if you want curly? I always assumed it was for curly hair. Thanks for the info and your hair looks wonderful. Great color too.
Yeah in most cases curly products are for curly hair except for like oils/serums in which most hair types can use. And yeah as a curly girl myself, we only brush our hair when conditioning otherwise it will separate the curls and make it go frizzy and break. As Lisa’s hair is on the wavy side she’s ok brushing it before shampooing. When my hair is straight, I can brush it to my heart’s content but curly textures require different styling techniques.
If your hair is wavy/curly and let it air dry, overtime your hair will look better and better because by not brushing it so often will cause less breakage 💕

Love it!! I love your hair❤️❤️I think I have the same kind, except my hair is black. And I like in a humid climate as well, and I fight the frizz all the time. When it’s raining I can’t blow it out and try to wear it straight!!! I don’t look as bad as Monica did on Friends that time, but it gets pretty big. I just recently got it cut, it was to my butt, now it’s your length. But I love all things hair!!! And you have beautiful hair🥰🥰
