thanks :-) man yeah, well said. let's hope for the best. i hope the team responsible for the TF Generations toys will put in-charge of the movie toys--but i sincerely doubt it. they're quite busy with upcoming TFG toys. the TFP BH toys have come to a close, and with our luck, they'll be put in charge of the movie toys and we'll get to see more "kiddie" stuff for the movie line... sigh...
I agree. The ROTF/HFTD toylines were extremely good. DOTM toyline started going downhill, but IMO Hasbro still sort of maintained the screen-accurate colours of the toys to an extent. But after seeing the TF Prime & Beast Hunters toys with the weird colour choices, I'm really not sure how the TF4 toys will turn out >.
in a sense, yes. but there's usually sentimental value and nostalgia feel attached to buying stuff like these. try watching The Pickers on the History channel and you'll understand why people buy old cans, old engines, frames, signs, car and motorbike parts, and all that trash.
Amazing, awe inspiring! This just makes me want to get more display shelves and display the transformers I have stored away in my basement! If I lived in Manilla I would buy that leader class Optimus Prime and maybe other stuff you want to get rid of! But I can't :( oh well good luck setting up for Transformers 4!
I know right. Haha. Sadly TF Prime suffered from kiddie gimmicks such as DOTM Mech Tech. But from the looks of it, starting with the TFG line Hasbro seems to be eliminating the gimmicks one at a time. I guess they have realised that kiddie gimmicks don't work all that well in the real toys compared to the drawing boards. Ha. Maybe with a stroke of luck, they'll give us something new, like say a transformable weapon (e.g. gun to oversized cannon) which is NOT springloaded *fingers crossed*
