Haven't laughed that much in a long time seeing how quickly you guys were trying to get out of the water. I fact I think you should do that every trip. Loved ranger cam, think that's going to be a regular skit. Great work done on the boat, well done. Thank you for another super vid.
Only you guys can make boat maintenance feel so relaxing and heartwarming. Love your channel, as it seems you're doing everything right... at 6 knots. :)
Wow! That Ranger Cam is really cool! Made our pooch Willow want to run with him. Looks like Jennifer got a chance to hit a good second hand shop - fun! Did you find any good treasures? It's sure handy that your pretty Paige has a boyfriend with muscles willing to help - looks like a "keeper". Thanks for sharing!
The Ranger cam made us laugh! Lol. Funny to see his view of the trails! We are having a great time so far. We are glad we had some help with the batteries. If Cody wasn’t here I would have to be helping lifting them around 🤣
What ca neat idea to put a camera on Ranger’s back! You guys’ ability to maintain your boat with minimal outside help always amazes me. You will have NO trouble living aboard, I’m sure. This was a really interesting episode. Waiting for the next one.
Thanks for watching us! Living up North is hard when we don’t have big marine maintenance shops, and have to order supplies and wait sometimes weeks. Lots of reading manuals and googling and RUclips helps! We wanted to share all the maintenance stuff we have to think about when owning a boat! 😂
Your ability to turn everyday activities into extraordinary adventures is truly inspiring! Whether you're exploring the reef or simply enjoying nature's bounty, you do it with such joy and expertise. And I'm Floating Village Life.
Great video! Loved the Ranger cam! We did a day stop in Alert Bay and are now in Sointula. We will head towards Bull Harbour Sunday to prepare for our passage around Cape Scott! Wish you all the best! Ranger N 4609❤
The Ranger can was funny! WOW enjoy your trip! Have you done it before? We want to do that one day when we have more time ! Amazing. Let us know how your trip goes !
That was a great video. Thanks for the update. So many things going on. All that work and only $150.00. LOl if only. Glad it all worked out for ya. Thanks
I wish it was only 150$ lol. I think the haul out was like 700$ approx. 🤣🥹. Boats are expensive $. That’s why we eat grilled cheese and hot dogs. 🌭. Just kidding ! Jen
That was a very enjoyable and a learning curve for me vlog. I am waiting patiently now for your next installment. Take care guys and give Ranger a hug from me.
Thanks for watching us!! I’ll give Ranger a big hug from you 🐕🦺🐕🦺. We just like to be chill in our vlogs and laid back. Nothing too crazy It’s fun to do!
Thanks for the great info. I am looking to make the switch, just trying to understand all the extra equipment I will need to change with it. I need to take a course to better understand everything. Thanks for watching our videos. 😃
@pbear6251 yeah we put green tape on ours from where the slings were on our last haul out. The lift operating also sometimes likes to see a picture of a previous haul out too 😁
You may want to keep an eye on temps of inverter under heavy loads. Mounted horizontally is allowed, but not ideal. May need to install a fan nearby. I think the Victron automatically debate their output if temps get out of hand. FWIW. Thanks for the video.
Yes, you are correct about the inverter. We did read about it prior to installing. We figured living in Northern Canada this would not be a concern. We will keep an eye and install a fan if necessary. Thanks for the reminder. 😁😁

Thanks for watching! Our AGMs were warranty so we went that route again. Lithium is just not as simple as change batteries. It requires planning, new equipment to support it, alternator, voltage regulator, charging systems. It’s something we do want to do in the future though! It is quite costly!

Great photo of the three of you at the beginning. I really enjoyed the maintenance portion on skookum. Safe travels.

Thanks for watching us! It’s quite stressful watching it being hauled out. Always fear something might happen but it all worked out!
@@MVSKOOKUM1 I have noticed some boats have marks on the sides of their boats where it is safe to put the slings for the haul out.
