    The alan bolt on the right sensor is very weak and tends to strip, it happened to me, does anyone have any idea how to get the screw out, I've tried everything I could think of at this point

    The vehicle is running a little smoother now. It did have a slight vibration which I could feel when holding the gear knob.

      Hi Leenesh, nice video! I have the same vibration i can feel it also when holding the gear knob.. changed allready a lot on the car.. timing chaine + guides, vacuum pump gaskets, oil filterhousing gaskets, solenoids gaskets, flywheel and glutch, ccv, new coils ( bosch ) and spark plugs (ngk) . And still i have a slight hesitation and a rough idle that i can feel sometimes in the car but mostly in the gear knob. Vissited a lot off bmw specialists but nobody cant find something.. maybe i have to test the vanos solenoids? Seen some video on youtube for that .. breaking my head with this car 😅 i hope you are enjoying yours 🙂👍

      Hi Yasin, car still going good. I noticed I have a bit of oil in the spark plug chamber. I’m thinking this might be causing the slight vibration. I need to tackle the plug seals next. My vehicle never came with a secondary air system. I’m guessing because it’s a smaller engine 318i it doesn’t have it. Is yours a 318?

    Hi @leenesh Singh is this both sensors the same or they hace some difference ? I hace bmw e90 318i with N46 B20 and i have reduced power and i try to find from what it is... thank you for your videos

    • @LeeneshSingh
      @LeeneshSingh Год назад

      Hi, they are both the same. I bought two and I did not have to worry about which one went into which slot. For reduced power, if the car is not idling properly, did you check the plugs and coil packs first? Easy to check that, while the car is running, you unplug one coil pack at a time and see if there is a change in the engine. The next thing I would do is clean your MAF sensor. I take it out and spray carb spray on it. But best to get a OBD2 reader to read the codes. Might be other sensors like Oxygen sensors.

    I had a misfire in cyl 3 p1347 and some tell me that could be the this sensor because share the same fault code can you confirm? The fuel cut off and come back when I ride

    • @LeeneshSingh
      @LeeneshSingh 10 месяцев назад

      Hi, I’m not sure if it could be this sensor. If it’s a misfire, I would start with checking the plugs and ignition coils. From what I read about that code P1347, if it’s not the plugs or ignition coils it could be something more serious like a valve could be chipped. Check here: www.e46fanatics.com/threads/p1347-cylinder-3-misfire-with-fuel-cut-off-help.889143/

But when I move the car minutes later the check engine it’s flashing some times get stuck , with a odb2 scanner I can erase the code and go away and the car get perfect . Some times in Google search about this code says can be the camshaft sensors. The coils are good, the spark it’s good, the inyector it’s good, I exchanged with other cylinder. But I checked the signal in the inyector plug and the signal goes and come when the code get erased and later the signal go away I have no more to do some says that the Ecu it’s bad but I don’t think so

      Maybe try swopping the camshaft sensors and see if it makes a difference. Then you know for sure if it is the sensors. But if you open them you might need two o-rings because if they haven’t been opened, then they will break easily. The o-rings are cheap.
