Okey fine but I’ll do it because I want to not because you told me
I was gonna comment there
@@thematiasmadness7010 that told 'em!
PLEASE MAKE MORE COFFEE CAFE
ITS LIKE MIGHTY BOOSH BUT AUSSIE STYLE. I NEED MORE
Please why is it only 720p on iview
I saw them do this live. Someone kept yelling out the correct moves to make, and one of the boys replied "Did you not hear the title of the sketch cunt?"
Mark probably 😂
I like to think that the audience to an event like this if we’re real are people who actually know how to play and just want to watch two men fail for an afternoon.
At the Sydney one, a bunch of people yelled out for Zach to put it in a certain spot and he was like "I want you to know, *I* know where to put it, but the other spot is where *the character* is thinking to put it" or something along those lines. Great show
@@joshuaziggy I automatically read it in Mark's voice 😂
Shit...
I was gonna comment that.
Gotta respect the details in their clothes. Broden's tie has crosses on it, Zach's has noughts, and Mark's suit has a grid pattern.
Wow! That’s a lovely detail!
I love it. But it also kinda makes me feel like they found the wardrobe first and then wrote the skit...
😳 I didn’t notice that until now!
@@jusstsprobably did
Truly professionals
This sketch was easily one of the highlights of the Dead Cat Tour last year, the fact they were able to draw out such a simple joke for so long while still making sure it was funny was masterful. Glad this show's acting as an opportunity to adapt a lot of those sketches now too.
Ahh shit!
Literally came down to comment the EXACT same thing
this video doesn't do the stage performance justice
Agree with all of the above comments. This bit done live might be the hardest I've ever laughed ever I was in serious serious pain so help me god.
This confirms that bogans are shit at comedy
This sketch played so well live on their first night of the tour. When they were meant to lower down the board from the rigging, they accidentally lowered a sign that said "Hitler" that was meant for a later sketch.
Imagine the narration saying "And now for the tournament of people who are really bad at tic tac toe" and then you just see "Hitler" descend from the roof. Watching them try to weasel their way out of that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
Mark as the straight man is always so funny. He's great when he's wacky, but he plays the grounded one so well too
I think that’s it, because he’s so good at an unhinged character, starting off as the straight man slowly losing his mind is recipe for gold
He's just a swilly bwoy
Tell me if this says “grounded” to you…meatball parmigiana.
He's my favourite straight man, he can play the serious and annoyed character so well
This sketch ended up going for like 10 minutes in the Wellington Dead Cat Tour because our audience kept interfering 😅 best 10 minutes of my life tbh
The way they dealt with the hecklers was legendary!
@@olivergillespie3574 absolutely
Zach: “I just want to clarify that we do actually know how to play. We’re just PRETENDING.”
Audience: “TOP RIGHT”
@@user-hb9vf1if2i did you hear the title of the bit? Do we need to fucking explain the joke to you sir?
Also the best fifteen minutes of MY life.
Broden's intense pause before the "congratulations" and hand extension was brilliant. Loving all this new content boys
"The crowd is applauding thanks to great direction form the 3rd AD" is such a cute added joke
“Ooooo”
“Can I ask the crowd why they made that noise”
“They were just reading what it says”
I can't believe that they made those decisions. This was elite level thinking. I honestly would've chosen top right, but I get how it doesn't work for them. Brilliant match.
I guess we have to remember these are professionals at the peak of their game, and that game is very much a mind game. We're out here playing noughts and crosses, and they're playing 4th Dimensional Hungry Hungry Hippos.
Can you explain to me how? I'm a pretty new player soI can only see the top right choice.
Top right? Shit! I was going to go there.
Terrible idea, had he gone top right, he wouldn’t have been able to go top right until his next turn.
This was the MOST heckled sketch during the dead cat tour. It was hilarious that people didn't get the punchline of "two people who are bad at noughts and crosses." Loved the show so much ❤
aunty donna fans are often complete idiots
Honestly I think I'd do it just for the reaction of being called a cunt by Mark
That's the premise, not the punchline...
there was no punchline, they continued being bad and both lost
See everyone else is talking about how they kept telling the audience to shut up in their live show, but in our Melbourne show Broden was exactly how he is here, looked at audience members, listened to them, gave them a nod each time, and then proceeded to mess up the entire thing. It was comedy gold, glad to hear they changed it up throughout the shows
Seeing this live was possibly the hardest I have ever laughed at anything. Somehow the only bit I really remember from it was at one point they started listing defunct Australian airlines instead of moves and Zach broke character to say “last night we were listing Anya Taylor-Joy films.” It is such a dumb concept and it is executed to absolute perfection 😂😂
"You're cross"
"Nah im alright"
Fun little pun🤣
The line is "No I'm pretty happy". How did you misquote a line you have full ability to listen to as many times as you want?
@@BioYuGi It's the vibe
@@BioYuGi you owned him
he's all top right actually
I was in the Sydney Friday night crowd on their Magical Dead Cat Tour, so it's cool to see how this sketch is meant to go without people yelling out answers and Broden yelling at us to STFU.
Heckling crowds are worse than cancer
That actually happened? Sounds awesome
Dude I was at that show and it was one of the best 15 mins of my life. The boys telling people stfu while trying not to laugh was just the cherry on top. So so happy we got to see it live
Bruh Zach broke out of character and roasted some dude for a solid 5 minutes in Brisbane explaining how jokes work, it was beautiful
@Rem C it was great haha, I can't belive they tricked us into cheering for Hitler
I remember the first show during the magical dead cat tour they were doing this sketch and halfway though a lady in the front row had to leave, and Broden said "the fuck you going" 10/10 funniest shit ive ever seen
Lmaooo in Canberra last year one of the fellow VIPs was a midwife and had to leave half way through the show to deliver a baby, it was slightly more well recieved by Broden and the boys, taking note to say goobye to her mid sketch. What a show, didn't even live in Canberra, but nothing felt better than after they decided to go ahead with shitting on the city, I was able to appropriately yell "At least we're not in f*cking Perth" because as the phrase suggests, there's f*cking nothing to do in Perth.
Now what I don't understand is why they didn't just go top right
All that’s missing is the audience shouting out the ‘correct’ locations and Zach having to remind them that it’s a skit, and that he’s not actually shit and noughts and crosses
Did that happen at the live show you saw, at the show I saw the audience were encouraging them and telling them they were doing well by giving them thumbs up
Didn‘t happen in Dublin.
Saw this skit in the Magical Dead Cat Tour when they came to Wollongong and I was in tears laughing. I’m so happy its returned. Love you boys ❤️
Aw no way, I work in Wollongong :)
Were you getting a perm?
As an American, it is a crime that the Netflix auntie Donna show was canceled.
I love how patient Mark’s character is at first
And then that final "I'll take the middle", "Oh you f-" XD
Man the sheer amount of pure acting that went into this was great especially near the end when it's the last space and not broden says hell take the spot that "NO!!" Sounded so genuine it had me cry laughing
That cross pun was easily in my top 5 favourite cross puns I've heard before. I'm naught even joking.
Not bad, buttercup.
🎶 top cross puns, top cross puns 🎵
Clean.
Now, this was a very close match. I was just blown away by these competitors.
When he pushes his wig off I lose it everytime😂😂
Everytime 😂😂😂😂😂
I lost it at the end with brodies "good game". Thats perfect comedy.
Love when Mark gets to play the straight man in the skits!
Jesus, watching neither of them go for the top right (when it was so obvious) makes me want to lightly slap a koala and then spend at least a month making it up to koala.
3:00 I like how even the frustrated judge is awful, bottom right is the unbeatable move
“Again I don’t know.”
Aunty Donna in a nutshell, and I LOOOVE IT!😂😂😂(also shoutout to Benny Russel’s announcing ability)
Best sketch in the new show. The whole shows brilliant but this cracks me up so much.
Their ties matching with the symbols they play was a nice touch. love little details like that
Just saw this sketch in Glasgow 2 nights ago and this sketch ended up going on for like 20 minutes ha ha
Today I learned that Tic Tac Toe is called Noughts and Crosses in Australia. Thank you Aunty Donna! 👍
And in the UK. In fact I think most English speaking countries. It's funny because America is usually the one that has the more literal names for things but not in this case.
@@shia_labeouf well yeah because we dont call o's noughts or X crosses usually. sounds entirely foreign and weird to us.
In Chile we call it "jugar al gato" which translates to "play cat"... which makes no sense at all
@@RajamQED actually that may be tied to tic tac toe. Since there's the rhyme catch a tiger by its toe.
That is very relatable.
These are by far my favourites by Aunty Donna. Just a nonsensical concept, but fleshed out and sophisticated. Made my soul chuckle all the way through.
wow.. the smooth sultry game announcer of Bon Russel really gives it a boost
I almost died when he pushed his wig off
I did not expect them to make this hilarious for a solid 5 minutes but here we are
Try 20 minutes when I saw them live hilarious
I liked how they were breaking character and laughing while doing this sketch at fortitude valley.
This video took the top right of my heart!
I love how they start with X and not O because they're just so bad. Lowkey genius
"Bit of murmers and rhubarbs" had me rolling
Holy mother of Sally, that final background conversation and ending edit busted me.
3:05 I love how the judge tells him bottom left even tho bottom right would be a way better move.
I did not anticipate finding this as INFURIATING as I did and I love it
Just played noughts and crosses with a three year old. It was genuinely like this, especially as I was trying to lose (which is much more fun anyway especially when you're playing with someone who doesn't know the strategy)
3: 16 That cut where Broden's wig just reappears on his head, is pure comedy gold.
I was honestly expecting Mark to flip the board counterclockwise so the empty space was top right.
This sketch was brilliant live. The comedic timing was phenomenal as they were able to read off the crowd
The true irony is that even the ref is pretty bad since the first move he suggests is a terrible move. He was probably a competitor in his younger years but had to retire once he finally understood the rules.
this skit fucking kills me
"it's just so hard to know isn't it?"
funny thing is that its actually more fun to play tic tac toe where your trying to force the other player to make 3 in a row so this suddenly becomes really interesting
Ben Russell really lends his best to this as the game announcer. Bravo all.
You know… playing Tic Tac Toe trying to lose might be a fun twist.
Something I appreciate about your content is that it’s somehow more funny each time you watch it.
I remember seeing this skit at the Auckland show, it was amazing, had the audience in stitches! It was almost as good as Christmas pud!
Some of my favourite sketches have Mark as the straight man, love this! Also I'll take top right please
Novel comedy genius as always. The buildup, as well as the prolonged shots of them just standing in silence, top tier stuff guys
Scrolled down to comment on how funny this bit was at the Canberra show with the audience interaction, but from the looks of it it was just as good everywhere else, amazing
Are you talking about the boys getting really confused about why we were politely golf clapping each move 😂
This is right up there with the kiln as one of my favs
saw this bit live in christchurch late last year!
it went on for like... 10 minutes... perfection.
Upload the sandwich scene from ep3 next I was in tears laughing the whole way through it. Amazing stuff boys.
This was great live!!
This skit definitely Tic Tac'd my Toe.
when you're ready! classic
There is 1 pattern where you can NEVER lose.... 😂 Not even 1% have discovered it
The ties are great! Love the extended versions of these sketches
I like to think this entire sketch only came to be because they happened to see those noughts and crosses ties in a shop somewhere
Seeing this live was phenomenal
Can't say I'm not a little jealous ;)
Definitely my favourite sketch from the tour and probably one of my favourites ever. So unbelievably good and I’m so happy it made it to the show
This is one of my favourite skits atm keep coming back
Love how the ties of the boys are "naughts and crosses"
God I wish the Netflix show had more seasons
I like how Mark was telling Zach to go bottom left but if he'd gone bottom right he would've won
This is hilarious! I've been sharing it with anyone I know with a sense of humour!
Bravo!
This is the most Flying Circus sketch Aunty Donna have ever done
I THOUGHT the opening credits of Coffee Cafe had Monty Python vibes!!
I love that the players ties match their symbols and the board master is wearing a cross hatched suit 😂
I love the little sideways tilt Zach has
I almost died of laughter. This is perfection.
The ties that they have on are quite spectacular
Just some Noughts and Crosses
Best sketch ever, weirdly captivating 😂this should actually be a sport
3:13 I like this Zach’s face, like he has no idea why everyone said that
The themed ties are very nice.
This is pure gold
Top right
I'm convinced the top right is a wonderful space.
This was gold!!
For those who know the rules a little bit better, is there a reason he didn't take the top right? I get lost in the nuances with these things.
They did this sketch in Boston during their most recent tour. My friend yelled out Top right at one point and Broden called him a “f***ing c***”. Most amazing show I’ve ever been to
Thank you for sharing clips
This was one of the best moments from the tour and the audience in Hobart made it phenomenal.
I love the subtle ties.
One of the funniest parts of the Magical Dead Cat Tour, maybe only topped by Zach having two Fanta spiders. I started golf clapping after each move, which the audience quickly took up, and the boys were super weirded out about us idiot Canberran's clapping 😂
Go on
We then started cheering for the naughts to win, since Canberra loves roundabouts so much 😂
That's Fkn hilarious hahaha
@@ScramblesTheDeathGod OMFGosh LOOOL!!
So much of this one does well for me, excellent senses of timing all around!
I really love the little detail of the themed ties
"No I'm pretty happy"
Honestly, playing to lose the game is a category in itself.
Their ties! Perfection.
