hynn composed mashup songs is the key, she could sang it powerfully.. bomi and namjoo are sometimes underated.. but actually their vocal are crystal clear and the tone are bold without too much forcing their breaths... veteran idols are built different.

I thought it was amazing when I first heard it, but the high notes in the back didn’t have the soul and intensity that rock music should have. I can only say that people who like Hynn have not received any music education, so it’s quite unpleasant to listen to.
Even though they lost, Apink showed what competent idols they are. I didn’t know Bomi is that stable and good 👍 I hope the new idols focus on singing more.
@@user-bm4dp2ld4h I agreed with you. At first, it was amazing but somehow it feels she was in a rush while singing both songs, so the performance looks ambiguous. Meanwhile, I like Bomi and Namjoo version more because even their's was short but it's not overwhelmed and done with a clean performance.
Bomi and Namjoo were so fierce with this version of their songs! Bomi taking Eunji's note and handling it so beautifully.

The mashup and the transition from one song from the other was amazing. Her vocals wow my mouth was open the whole time.
Well! Not Agree! it's not only about the high notes which Namjoo and Boomi also hit it well but so much about giving the vibe which I get it only from the original not the cover. Also their performance was too short to show what they've got, they even could change it a bit, blames on company and the arrangement! Again I think the original wins no matter what!

Yes Hynn hit the notes super well but something bout BnN velvety and husky vocal tones makes the songs more ✨ charming✨

I like the originals & maybe we are used to them but I need to admit that HYNN's cover is too powerful and kinda overwhelming for me to not get affected by it, like it left me speechless & simply went "WOW". It's not like Bomi/Namjoo/Apink's versions are bad at all, but that live singing cover here is simply good for me not to acknowledge that it IS a good cover 😂

Both versions were good, but I felt like Hynn was screaming at my face... The song lost a bit of it's charm and feeling.
"Screaming"? (Do you understand chest voice? Or belting? Or just prefer that singing style?)
She made it into a rock-style medley, I don't think it would have made sense for the arrangement for her to sing weakly or even go for a mix-belt like they did.
Either way, I've noticed a lot of fans like the softer younger sound over the powerful Ailee-style belting, and seem to misunderstand a supported chest voice as "screaming".

I actually think BnN represented Apink songs better since Eunji can be a bit overpowered when she sings alone. BnN balances Apink in the vocal line.

Apink songs are made onky for Apink, it cannot be stolen or covered by anyone. Their songs are usually high that it's not easy to sing. However when it's Apink they sing all of their songs effortlessly. So Apink songs are only for Apink to sibg and perform and no one can outdo them

wow the mashup version is amazing n the delivery too. sadly from the many comments, fans just try to downplay it as much as possible than giving the credit it clearly deserve. if the idol is the one coming up with this exact mashup maybe even with 50% of the vocals, the praises would be astronomical. i mean it's kpop fans, the original is always the best when their idols are the original singers and the cover is better when their idols are covering. that's the basic rule regardless of the performances sadly. (once i've seen a boygroup's fans rudely flooding comment section of the original singer's perf just to brag how their idols did better-they did not honestly- and even trashed the appearance of original singers like wtf) this 'default' rule kpop fans play by(regardless they admit or not) took away from the performances itself because of the need to compare and not 'lose' rather than listening, observing n enjoying the performances for what they are. why not find what you like about the stages rather than who does better and just find things to announce why your idols need to be the winner? doesn't have to always be that way. but kpop fans will be kpop fans. i actually like both songs here especially dumhdurum which is why i clicked in. but the comments...if this is my first impression of the group/fandom, definitely not a positive one, but since i'm a longtime kpop listener/observer, just relieved it's not my fandom though it doesn't make me dislike apink either nor do i have anything against them...just neutral generally, n yeah...see it as just another day in kpop fandom land and rules.
I choose hynn as the storyline so smooth, for me the story was about her ex,n she's already move one, but Apink just sing like medley 😅 maybe because they sangs with ori arrangement

I'm not bashing on Namjoo here (disclaimer), but with this live, you can clearly see the difference between Bomi and Namjoo. Bomi's vocals is really so much more stable and that is why she is the 2nd singer in Apink after Eunji. In the cases where Eunji is not around, Bomi and Namjoo are the ones to take over Eunji's parts, but with all the various examples, you can see that Bomi handles those parts amazingly and more stably.

It's amazing how the singer won from her smooth arrangement and strong vocals, despite the audience clearly having dedicated fans of the idol group! I felt a little uncomfortable with how the idols were trying to "guilt trip" the challenger (mentioning them being "greedy" and how the songs were significant to their group) even though they should be ready for it if they were also there to steal others' songs (that are of course also significant and meaningful to those singers). Maybe some of these were not their original intention? This is a show anyway and they are great performers, just that their comments made me really uncomfortable. Very different from the way other experienced singers on the show acknowledge their "song stealers"/challengers.

I like the original more mellow and uncomfortable. It's comfortable to listen to. As for the people who were able to take it, it sounded too much and some was lacking. Uncomfortable, like you want to push your voice to make it sound sharp. However, it must be original.
