Yamaha receiver rxv-457 power on problem

The most common problem for yamaha receiver. It might work for you and this is the steps i did:
1. Checked the fuse and no blown fuse.
2. Cleaned all the dust using DW40 for circuit board and still didn't power on.
3. Replaced capacitor #C405 as suggested by many and it works !

Hi.
I also had same issue. Replaced said capacitor but issue did not resolve completely. So on close inspection the bridge rectifier (D 408) S1NB60 below the capacitor seemed heated up too. So replaced it too and it worked. Send me PM for any help needed

I have yamaha HTR 3063 it blowing the main supply fuses 6 amp 125 v. I have replaced the blown fuse but again it fuses the new one can u suggest me the solution.

@@sonucae blowing fuse means there is a short in your circuit somewhere. So lot of current is flowing. Fuse is protecting your system. So first find the real fault, then replace fuse.

Try check bridge rectifier as mentioned by someone here or you may need specialist to figure it out.

kalau on pastu bunyi click (relay) pastu off balik maybe capacitor sebab mmg common issue for yamaha receiver ni. yamaha receiver ni ada circuit protection akan off unit kalau ada problem. Nak tau lebih tepat mmg kena bukak and check
