I love the original Luigi's mansion but I've never played the sequels. I don't think they look bad or anything it's just that I look at them and think something is just off about them. Oddly enough I consider the first game looking off brand to be the brand and the sequels don't really have that unsettling nature about them. I get the standard enemy ghosts looking different in 2 and 3 since in the first one they were creations of the painter ghost and he's not in the latter games but the lighting and the environment just seem less creepy in 2 and 3. I also haven't played the 3ds one since I'm fine sticking to my GameCube version but it was neat finally hearing about it. Also I feel like the reason they made the co-op player goo is because it's easier to render a simple green texture instead of Luigi's full normal model. If you think the co-op frame rate looks bad now I can only imagine how bad it would be with two fully textured Luigis.
Great video! This port really is strange. I'm surprised you didn't mention the strange time-travel cutscene they add into this port to explain why Gooigi is there. It really caught me off guard when I was playing through it on 3DS, having been so familiar with the GCN version.
Nah, I like Luigis Mansion not being part of The Brand™️. It's janky and weird and Luigi is off model but I like that, it give it a really unique personality that the 3ds remake lacks
Good work on the video the thumbnail was not interesting but the video title made me click on it and I thought you're editing and content was really well done good work
I actually disagree on the take about the style being less off model on the remake being better. I feel like in the original the off look of Luigi's model and animations gave him and the game a unique feeling, which I feel the 3ds version took away with the "branding" finally being put into place. I enjoyed the video. What a bizarre release this was
They really needed to release it earlier and they should've called it Luigi's Mansion 3D so it's more clear that you're talking about the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. And they also need to make a Nintendo Switch version so the whole trilogy is on the Nintendo Switch. Maybe around Halloween?🎃 👻 🕷️🧹🧼

I like the Scott the Woz feeling. I'm glad that I've seen quite a few channels branch off into this style. Keep up the good work

Hey! I’ll have you know that everyone and their mothers wanted to play Super Monkey Ball when the GameCube released!! 😂 (seriously, great game though)
I felt the video ended really eruptly I was hoping for more dialogue

Hyrule Warriors on the 3DS has significantly less enemies on screen so.
I prefer the gamecube one over the 3DS bc of the controls!
