🙏Swsmiji, No words are enough to describe the gratitude for such a profound knowledge you are showering on us… Bhakti is the ultimate goal .. neither Dharma , Artha , Kama or Moksha… Bhakti is so much underrated and thank you Swsmiji for guiding us to show the importance of Bhakti 🙏🙏Radhey Radhey 🙏
What a beautiful clear cut explanation- “ Desire for mukti never gives bhakti, but desire for Bhakti gives mukti automatically.” So simple and common sense that one should run for Bhakti.
Kripalu Maharaj says make your goal the highest, even if you achieve it after 10 lifetimes . And it must be selfless bhakti. Thank you Swamiji for guiding us and uplifting us from inside.
Wow, so much wisdom packed in this lecture... One take-away: Five scriptures talk about liberation as the goal. These suggest that the soul is “purush” and Maya is “prakriti” so Maya binds the soul. To seek relief from Maya, souls seek moksha. However, if a soul wants bhakti that leads to divine love, we need to forsake both bhukti (material desires) and mukti (desire of liberation). Thank you, Swamiji.

@@bhaktilectures4098 Thank you for replying. 🙏 There are two books available in Amazon. Hindi (rs-250) and english (rs-700). Which one is good ? I mean exact verses with english explanation.
The Hindi version is the original explanation by Shri Maharaj Ji Himself, so definitely it's the best. There is no doubt about it. Only if you don't know how to read Hindi, you can opt for the English version. The English version is the translation of the Hindi explanation. But with Hindi explanation, it's like listening to Shri Maharaj Ji Himself, so it is a completely different experience altogether.
Radhe radhe Swami ji, I have a doubt related to Verse 7 of Chapter 8 which says "Sarveshu Kaleshu". Here, Shri Krishna instructs Arjuna to do his duty of fighting war through his body but should attach his mind to him all the times. But if as a student I want to apply this then how can I apply it. Because Arjuna had to fight so he had to engage his body there but I need to engage my mind in doing my duty of studying, so while studying I can't attach my mind to God bcz my mind is constantly engaged in learning and grasping something so my focus would be there. So can you pls clarify this, i would be a great help. Please Swami Ji I want this to be answered.
Radhey Radhey, This has been explained by Swamiji elsewhere. We have to first practice this - once in an hour just pause and think for a second that Shri Krishna is sitting in your heart and watching you. We don't have to do dhyan of Shri Krishna for a second, we just have to think that He is watching us. Once this practice is is solidified, you can try reducing the time from one hour to half an hour and so on. This is the karm-yog sadhana prescribed for all sadhaks. Another point: Arjun was fighting in the battlefield where tremendous amount of focus is required, so how was he able to remember God at all times? The fact is Arjun was a God-realized Saint. He was simply acting ignorant and providing an opportunity for Lord Shri Krishna to narrate Bhagavad Gita for the benefit of the entire human kind. Arjun was at a 'siddhi' state (state of perfection) and didn't have to practice anything, while we are sadhaks and need to practice both karm-yog and karm-sannyas sadhna.
Pranams to you Swami ji. 🙏 With due respect to you, let me point out a mistake. You said: "Vedanta was written by Ved Vyas...." In my understanding, the Vedas were only separated by Ved Vyas. It was originally spoken by God and written down by the Rishis. Ved Vyasa only segregated the mass of knowledge in the Vedas into 4. This is my understanding. I am sorry if I am wrong. Pranams. 🙏 Can any knowledgeable person clarify?
"Vedant" and Vedas are different texts...... Vedas is one body divided into 4 parts Rig, Yajur, Sām, Atharva whereas Vedant, also called, Vedānt sutra Or brahm sutra, contains aphorisms...... It is the only philosophy put of the six that talks about the supreme divine personality and has 555 aphorisms divided into 4 chapters......
